I recently purchased the New Brothreads polyester embroidery machine thread when I started experimenting with applique, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! This is my 2nd purchase of this thread, only in a different color. It was recommended I use Isacord in my Bernina, but after trying this brand Ive found it works great! The price allows me to afford to do more projects. I use it mostly in my embroidery module, but also for free motion quilting. I love that I can buy groups of colors that if broken down costs much less than the "other" brands. I've had no thread breakage in my machine. The only thing I would like to see improved is the ease to find the thread on a new spool. Some colors were very obvious while several others I had a hard time finding where the end thread was woven into the spool. Another note to users, I use a multi-spool holder attached to upper rear of machine to feed thread from large spools. This was a huge factor in working with larger spools should you have difficulties with it feeding properly in your machine.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This thread is beautiful in color, seems to hold up well in embroidered projects, however I wish the base was a bit bigger as the thread slips down off the spool. I do use thread nets, which were included. I don’t really like using nets. Please make the base a bit bigger to catch the unwinding thread. The price is very good on this. I will continue to buy these set as they are a nice mix of colors.

Love this thread! I have came across some sewing thread that breaks easily while using it. But this thread never once has broke on me

These are good for not running out of thread. The only thing I don’t like is they’re taller than my thread holder.
