Works Great, Probably Best Option for a Simple Hardware RAID Enclosure
I opted for the empty enclosure and installed two refurbished data center drives for a total of 20TB, and this thing has been working great so far. It has been on 24/7 for about a month, attached to my home server, in "combine" mode.I have a giant library of movies on it for my Plex and Jellyfin servers, and this thing does a good job of waking up and streaming large files pretty quick. Data transfer seems to be fast, and the unit is a lot quieter than I expected. The unit arrived damaged with one of the drive doors cracked in half, but the Amazon return process was hassle free and I opted for a replacement that arrived within two days. I chose to keep the same model because it appears well built with a good chipset and solid electronic components.Other than the cracked door, I have zero complaints and recommend this product over any other for someone looking for a hardware RAID enclosure that connects via USB.

Solid Enclosure
This is a very nice HDD enclosure. Its metal case and well-sized, quiet fan help keep the drives cool. The front bezel is a sturdy plastic, and the drive bay doors are a nice thick aluminum. Its trayless design makes it easy to swap the HDDs. It has large rubber feet and is overall very well made. Its USB3 connection uses UASP, so the HDD is detected as a SCSI device which simplifies management in linux and should perform well. I have not tried the hub connector, but that's a nice feature. If I could change something about this, it would be to hide the RAID switch and perhaps also the power button on the back, but that's just my preference. I only plan to use it JBOD mode, so I've not tested the RAID options. It has sleep mode which spins down the drives and dims the bay lights, e.g., when the computer powers down. While at $159 it's more than I expected to spend on a USB HDD enclosure, I think it's worth that price considering the faults noted with other less expensive enclosures (e.g., drive corruption). It's designed in the US, manufactured in Taiwan, and it was packed and shipped very well. Overall very study and highly recommended.

Well Built but Loud Fan Noise
I bought the Mobius 2C RAID 2-Bay USB-C Hard Drive Enclosure to replace the OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual, because I thought the OWC unit was too noisy for a desktop unit. The Mobius's mass did a better job of damping the HDD clicks, but its fan noise is outrageous. Maybe I just got a bad example, but I found the fan to be so loud that I had to turn the enclose off after 20-minutes.The good news is that I have a new appreciation of the OWC Mercury Elite.Obviously, the Mobius is boxed up and going back today.

A pretty high-quality product, as for an unfamiliar brand.
Initially, I wanted to purchase "WD MyBook Duo", however, after disappointing reviews that the motherboard was failing, as a result of which disk recovery can be very expensive (about $ 400, if not more) since all data is encrypted. One of the users recommended this product in a review about "WD My Book Duo", I also tried to find other alternatives, but I didn't find anything better.I needed a home library in which I could simply store personal information, including 4K movies. It was important to me that there was no encryption, for easy disk replacement and without a server that would provide files over the network due to security. As a result, I took the 44TB version. And to be honest, I was a little excited about what would come of it, since I hadn't heard of Oyen Digital anywhere else. The package was well packed, and there was quite a lot of "foam".I checked the appearance of one of the disks. Opening the doors, inserting the hard drive - everything was done very pleasantly and neatly, I liked it.Doing everything slowly according to the instructions, I easily activated RAID 1, and began transferring data to disk.Hard drives (Toshiba) are quite quiet. The fan in the case can be heard quite well if you are working in a quiet environment (for example, on a Macbook Air)I did not check the condition of the hard drives, whether they have broken sectors, since I ordered this package to another country (Ukraine), and in case of any problems, it would be quite expensive to send the hard drive back or deal with it in any other way.Anyway, any hard drive can fail at any moment, so I'm not worried about it.I am very happy with the product, and would recommend it!

Enclosure is a classy act
I ordered the enclosure and my own pair of Iron wolf 12TB NAS drives. Setup as RAID 1 for astro-image files mostly and formatting was a breeze. The device is very fast even as a raid 1 and almost silent. Writes at a constant 200MB/sec. The solid metal construction is robust and made to last.

Not As Good as it Should Have Been
I had a different product by this same maker and had no issues. But this raid kept shutting down and putting the drives a sleep even though I was transferring data. There seems to be a flaw in there product. Bought a different product and had no issues. Sorry I had to go somewhere else.

Smooth and easy setup - No issues since setup
I've had this up and running for about 2 months. It took me about 10 minutes to get it in the right configuration and initialize the disk. The speeds have been more than acceptable as I am using it for network file services. It runs quiet. It does what drives should do....work, and not give you a headache. So, in that respect it is 5 stars all the way.File storage is of the utmost concern to me, as I am a digital packrat and have lost many backups to faulty drives. I stick to replacing drives every 4 years at maximum and upgrading as needed. I intend to buy a second bay for this purpose and only change out drives as the years go by and the data is moved to the new drives. This was a good purchase and I sleep well at night not worrying about data loss.
