Quality and price
I bought this for my 2004 Subaru Forester 2.4 l 4 cylinder and yes it does fit perfect and yes it helps with the corrosion and the errors and the check engine you know you get that check engine because it's either the gas cover is not too tight or you know erosion but this definitely definitely is worth the price it's not too much and I definitely recommend it I've had it for now a few months no problem worth the price good quality strong durable Great seal and no check engine light. I hope this will help everyone God bless amen.

Save the clip from your old cap
Check engine light was lit on my 2014 Forester. Opening and closing the gas cap didn't help. I replaced the gas cap with this one and the problem went away.Just be careful to save the tether clip from your old gas cap because this doesn't come with one.

Worked Great - 2006 Subaru Forester
Lost the old cap. Had check engine and cruise control light on. Replaced it with this cap! Had to take it off and back on twice to clear the alarm lights, but it worked great!

Cleared the code - less than the dealer.
That's what's important.
