Great Quality and East To Use!!!
For the price and quality, you can't beat this laser bore sight. I used it to actually sight in another green laser. Dropped this in the barrel and had the sight aligned in less than a minute. It's a great deal and well made! I like the fact that it used a single 123 battery instead of those little button batteries. Give it a try. You will not be disappointed!

Not super accurate, but gets you on paper
I used this to zero in a red dot, and noticed it changed when the orientation of the shell was rotated differently. It appeared to be off by about 1.5" at only 20 feet as a quick test. This isn't great, and would only get worse as the distance increases. For a Shotgun, I guess it is acceptable and would get you on paper, but I expected better to help save on ammo for final zeroing. I also contacted customer support via email, and they were very responsive and helpful. They are going to ship me a replacement directly from the factory that has been calibrated better. Not sure why they all aren't calibrated with a tighter tolerance, but I would guess that is why the price is as low as it is. Hopefully the replacement is better.

Good bore laser light
I purchased this bore sight because I had ordered one before with a red laser and it wouldn’t show up in broad daylight for anything. I might as well not had a laser at all. I should have suspected as much as red shows well at night, but if you are using a laser for daytime, it needs to be green. This bore laser light will show up in broad daylight, but you have to be probably within 50 feet of the object and you have to know where to look to easily and quickly see it, but on an overcast day, with plenty of ambient light available, I could easily see the beam from this bore sight at 100 feet.I also really like the fact that you can leave the battery in and turn it on and off with the enclosed key. The other one I had was always on when the batteries were in it.When installing the battery, be mindful that the polarization is a bit opposite than what you would normally expect. The positive end goes towards the bottom and the negative end goes towards the end where the laser beam comes out. But then again, if you look on the side of the bore laser light, they kindly remind you of that.Overall, a good bore laser light. I think I’ll get a lot of use out of it.

Solid mounting / Reliability
I bought this unit based on #1 Reviews #2 Larger Battery #3 On/Off SwitchI have 40 years experience shotgunning, hunting, hobby gunsmithing and I am 22 years retired U.S.M.C.First I tested that the laser was true to center of bore by chambering it and marking the target where the center of the laser was at 26 yards. I then rechambered the laser at 3,6,and 9 oclock. The laser never moved from my mark on the target. I then moved my red dot directly on top of the green laser, and I was done. The sighting in were done at 3pm on a cloudy day with both the target and the gun in the shade in Florida , and the green laser was easily visible . The photo with the green dot is laser only, the photo with the Red Dot is actually the red dot directly covering the green laser. Took the gun to the range and fired a 5 shot group with slugs at 50 yards that printed 2inches. I must note that I used a very solid Caldwell gun rest to get this kind of precision. This is an outstanding product , how they can produce it and sell it for under $20.00 is beyond me. Shotgun slugs are $1 each now and this sight has already paid for itself. If you want an accurate shotgun with a red dot you should not hesitate to buy this laser.

Decent laser
I got this laser bore sight to use on my 12 ga shotguns. This bore sight is easy to use and I like the on/off switch. It appears to be well made and comes in a nice case. This particular unit is in the green which is brighter than the red. Beware that you will have to fittle with it in the chamber to make sure it is centered in your barrel. Most often just rotating it will cure that. Use a piece of clear tape on the muzzle end of the barrel to see how centered it is. "DON'T look directly into the laser", just gaze at it from the side to check alignment. I think it is worth the price.

Batteries can stay in it.
I love the switch so i dont have to take the batteries out after use. It appears that it will be safe to the unit if I accidentally dryfire it.

Great Customer Service!
This is a great boresight tool from a great company to do business with. Their customer service is outstanding and they will go out of their way to make things right. Candy in particular was fantastic to work with. She did a great job in resolving an issue I had and followed up with me to make sure that I was satisfied with the replacement product which was shipped out to me promptly. She was very helpful and caring. You don't find that kind of service too often these days. I'm happy with the boresight tool, it's the best one I've ever owned, and I own several in different calibers.
