For green kettle , what coloud is the cable, please.?

my kettle is purple with black lead. also please remember it is very slow to boil. I have complained but have had no response from seller

The box says that the inbuilt filter is removeable. How do I remove it please? No instruction booklet came with it.

Via the spout you can see 3 spring lugs around the circumference. Using a small screwdriver Prise forward towards the centre and push down on the filter with a finger. To replace, offer up to the spout from inside the kettle and push into place.
