Versatile and great fresh taste.
Such a great product and very versatile. I use it in Marinades, soups and shrimp scampi and on salmon and and and. Great clean taste. I add other herbs and spices and it always comes out great.

Good quality, not quite what I was expecting.
Appears to be a quality product and is a good value, but not quite what I expected. Nice consistency, well blended and stores well in the fridge. For me, though, it's very fish-forward - I taste fish first, then garlic, even before I taste the lemongrass.

There's a warning listed on this bottle
Why is there a warning listed on this jar? That it might cause severe problems.Health conditions. Realistically, I don't think I can use this and apparently the label listed in the ad. Does not contain the same information as the label on the jaw that I received. I guess I have to throw it away. I'm not eating it

Finally found an ingredient that makes a recipe I've been trying to duplicate for years!
Our local Vietnamese restaurant closed over 5 years ago and I have been looking to replicate their lemongrass chicken recipe for years. I've searched dozens of cookbooks, websites, videos, and all the recipes came up short. We grew lemongrass which I've used but that's seasonal so what to do. I found a recipe of Jamie Oliver's and another in a cookbook I got at an estate sale. I combined elements from both recipes with great success. It's not the same but it's much closer than I've ever gotten. This paste is the key and I am so grateful to have found it That dish is now a staple in our home. The adaptation from Jamie's green curry is to use a yellow onion cut into quarters and then sliced and to add a smidge of powdered sugar.
