After messing around with a wired brand of cameras for years and having endless trouble here at the coast due to salt moisture destroying the copper cables I eventually on the advice of a friend went to look at his Tapo Cameras. Wow what a world of difference these cameras are. Wireless connection to an Internet Wi-Fi source is so easy to set up. Just provide a power outlet for the 9 volt (Yes, it's a strange voltage) supply and connect to the Tapo App. The App is so easy to use and you can share the cameras with a partner or fiend on their phones. I even have the Tapo App on a tv at home so I can check on the work cameras. The App needs a mouse to work the cameras so not all TVs would work I suppose. All I needed to do was add a Micro SD Card from Amazon I chose 128gb which gives about a month of recording at full resolution. There is a subscription cloud offering also available in case someone steels your camera and the footage will also disappear. I have about 7 Tapo cameras and honestly, they are fantastic. This Camera is a budget version but still has super clear pictures. What I like about the App is you can have work and home cameras all on one screen. I will definitely be adding more Tapo cameras.

The camera app is poor, it doesn't have any good options or features, it's very superficial

I was looking for a reliable indoor camera and decided to give the Tapo C220 a try. I was so impressed with it after setting it up at my place that I immediately ordered another one for my parents. Seriously, it's that good. The 2K 4MP resolution gives you a super clear picture, even at night thanks to the IR night vision. Setting it up was a breeze – the app is really intuitive and walks you through everything. The 360° pan and tilt is awesome for getting a full view of the room, and the motion detection is spot-on. I get notifications on my phone whenever it detects movement, which is great for keeping an eye on things when I'm away. The two-way audio is another great feature. I can talk to my pets (or tell them to get off the couch!) when I'm not home. Plus, it integrates seamlessly with Alexa, which is a nice bonus. I ended up getting the cloud subscription for recording and storing footage, and it’s been well worth it for the added peace of mind. Overall, the Tapo C220 is a fantastic indoor camera with a great set of features at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!
