This is an initial impression review. First, the sound quality is quite literally unbelievable. I have never liked earbuds because they just never lived up to my comfort and sound standards. Having said that, I am utterly blown away by how well Bose has done both. The immersive sound settings are game changing. The frequency range and response are some of the best I've ever experienced. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I am very particular when it comes to sound quality. I did semipro audio mixing and DJ'ing for many years. I've used all kinds of headphones and professional PA systems and the sound reproduction capabilities of these earbuds is top tier.I've had them in listening to them while I work around the house today and they are not only extremely comfortable but also very secure. I'd have no problem doing vigorous work with no fear of them coming out or becoming uncomfortable. Most of the earbuds I've used can only be tolerated for a couple of hours before I have to give them a break. I'm quite surprised at how little it feels like anything is even in my ears.Setup was very intuitive and super easy. The app is just as easy to understand and navigate. The ability to customize is pretty much exactly what you need without being overly complicated or too feature heavy.Overall I would highly recommend these for the price. I will update this review if I have any issues in the future but so far I'm very pleased.

The noise cancelation is amazing. Too good sometimes for what I need, so need to download app to adjust so I can have the complete isolation I want when I need it and less when I need to hear the outside world. Sound amplification is fantastic. If I were to complain, with the highly active noise cancelation the on-bud battery life is a bit short, although the case has good charging life. Maybe without the active cancelation the life will be longer for beach walks and such (although a 1.5 hour beach walk was fine).

I had nothing but connectivity issues with this item from day one, but I stuck with em. A couple weeks in, and the left earbud is extremely quiet. I tried "hard resetting" but it's almost as if this item does not have a hard reset.I expected much more than this from Bose, but this will be the last Bose product I ever buy.

Active noise cancelling is great...for earbuds. Sound quality is great...for earbuds. But for the cost, I was still expecting much, much better. The immersive audio is a gimmick--it doesn't really add much to the experience and makes the sound more tinny. Don't expect incredible bass in any mode or anywhere close to perfect noise cancelling--they are still just earbuds. They are comfortable otherwise and feel like I could wear them for hours. But, as you would expect, still not good for running because they can fall out when sweaty (one did for me), even when properly sized. For exercise, go with the Bose Soundsport.On occasion, an earbud won't connect and you have to put it back in the case then take it back out to reattempt connection. Case feels high quality.These are wildly overpriced, and I'm feeling the regret of my purchase. If you want high quality earbuds, 100% save your money and go with the Bose QC II which is on sale right now for about half the price of these.

My husband finally found a reliable earbuds after going through couple of them from the market that easily breaks. The noise cancellation feature is truly superb to the point that I startle my husband when I have to tap his shoulder coz he can't hear me when I call out for him. It has a comfortable and stable fit far from the first couple ear buds that easily detaches from your ears with movement like bending or reaching up. The sound quality is awesome it feels like a band is playing in front of you.

Wore these on a 5 hour plane ride and they lasted the entire trip. Completely blocked out the sound of the plane and passengers.

They are going the route of Boeing. Inferior quality in legitimately every way. Less comfortable, charging is iffy, sound quality randomly changes. Wanna pause your music? Be prepared to hit your headphones hard enough to hurt your ear, unless you graze it on accident. Need to turn down your volume? Use your phone. It will randomly skip ahead. Is it windy? Expect your Bluetooth to disconnect, because apparently their Bluetooth receiver is from 2002. The only reason it's getting two starts and I don't return them for the older model is because the active noice cancelation is solid, when it works. Sometimes it'll randomly decide to go deactivate for no real reason. Save your money.
