Great Value - Awesome Function!
This lined notebook has been exactly what I wanted and needed. Important for me is that it opens completely and lays flat. Most of the time when I’m taking notes it’s not on a table. It’s in my lap. This notebook is not cumbersome. I can write on both sides of the page and the spine does not get in my way. Also, the paper is thick enough that my gel pen ink does not bleed through. And as an added bonus, it’s really nice looking!

description needs correction
It seems they have improved a couple of complaints made in previous reviews. The paper isn’t thin but I would recommend not using gel pens; there’s a little bleed over. The spine is still separate but there seems to be a good amount of glue to keep the pages together Still don’t like misrepresenting 1. It’s not leather but didn’t expect it for the price 2. No way do the pages lay flat (see photos) but it’s not that big a deal - it’s still improved on the last one I tried to use. What I really like is that the color, choice of sizes, price are perfect; so I’m ordering again.

Good paper, nice quality, not leather
Very nice. I bought six of these journals and three boxes of pigma micron pens with archival ink,to do Bible journaling. I started on the New Testament a couple of weeks ago to help me engage the scripture as I read. Also, I feel drawn to do it. I actually look forward to writing. Anyway, these journals are great. Warning, these are not leather but they are still very nice. The paper feels thick and quality and there is a sewn in strap to keep your place. I would buy these again.
