Q: Can you install this with drywall and no wooden stud?

I installed mine into the drywall with a drywall anchor and screw, not into a stud, and I’ve had no problems. It’s next to the front door which regularly slams into the wall it’s on and it’s never fallen. The mirror isn’t very heavy.

Q: Can this be hanged on a single hook instead of two?

I think the two hooks are there to hang it in two different directions! I hung my mirror on one hook and it works just fine.
