Excellent hock & ankle support
I have a dog who loves to run and play, but one day at the park, he suddenly started limping and crying in pain. I could tell he was in a lot of discomfort and it was heart-breaking to see him like that. We rushed him to the vet and found out he had sprained his legs. It was a tough time for both of us, seeing my furry friend in so much pain. The vet prescribed a support to help him with the pain. At first, I was relieved that there was something that could help my furry friend feel better. However, as time went on, I noticed that the support would slip off and I was constantly having to readjust the straps. It was really frustrating and I felt like I wasn’t helping my dog as much as I could be.I searched for a dog brace that could support my dog’s sprain legs comfortably, that’s when I bumped into this product. The product arrived in perfect condition and it was well-packed and protected. The hock and ankle support was easy to put on my dog and I could see that it would provide a comfortable and secure fit. The best part was seeing the results. My dog was able to walk and play without any discomfort and I could tell that the brace was providing the support he needed. The reinforced frame also gave me peace of mind knowing that the brace was durable and long-lasting. I would highly recommend this product to any pet owner looking for reliable and effective support for their dog’s back legs.

Purchase these braces! AMAZING PRODUCT AND RESULTS!
I purchased these for my 14 1/2 year old German Shepherd, as she has been losing strength and muscle tone in her rear legs. Let me tell you, it's the best purchase I have made for my girl Rosy for her mobility issues. She has always been extremely active and never had any issues until she lost her litter mate (my beautiful boy Toby 😥) on March 22nd. They had only been apart one night their entire lives, and the loss of her brother changed her whole attitude towards going for walks, chasing the ball, and even swimming in our inground pool, which I normally can't keep her out of, she just flat out refuses to go in at all after Toby passed. That's when she started losing weight, muscle tone, and strength in her hind end. I had to get a raised food feeder, but she could only eat for 30 seconds before her back legs would give out and she would have to walk around for a few minutes before she could start eating again. It was heartbreaking and I had to try something to improve her quality of life. I tried different braces and supplements with no luck. I decided to give these a try, and let me say, I couldn't believe how much these have helped Rosy. She can stand to finish her meal without any drooping or balance issues in her rear legs, it's amazing! She even goes out and plays with her balls again and will walk to the park again! It took only a day or two until she got used to them, but she actually looks forward to me putting them on now and stands still while i do it, which is amazing because she normally hates having her legs or feet touched! If your older dog is experiencing similar issues, PLEASE BUY THESE, THEY HAVE GIVEN MY GIRL HER HAPPINESS AND PEP BACK, since the loss of her brother, Toby. I know this is a long review, but I was so impressed by how much they helped and improved my Rosy's quality of life. Thank you so much Merrymilo for giving me back my Rosy, and keeping her with me for a little while longer! I'm so thankful!

"Small" size way too big for a small dog.
Seems like it might be a good product, but it was far too large for our 11-pound dog. They need to offer an "extra small" size that's about half as big as their "small" size. I would try that.

Update to "Won't stay in place." Works with modification.
Update: Made small slits at the top, on inside where metal inserts go. Took out 1 of the 2 metal support springs. Brace now stays in place with greater flexibility and still provides support. Well made and sturdy. However, will not stay in place. Vet tried it on and discouraged from using because of that reason. Do provide support when in place. Trying to figure out if I may adapt so they stay put in joint. Update 5/24/23) Seller reached out and offered "product refund and an extra refund to you to ask for your forgiveness." If that isn't decent, don't know what is. I am keeping and using the braces. Works with modifications.

This is what I needed.
This is exactly what I needed. My dog jumped off the chair and landed wrong, it’s a bad sprain but with the added support this gives he’s doing so much better already. The stitching is thick and sturdy, it’s good quality, it fits him perfectly, it doesn’t slide but moves with his body while supporting his leg. It does the job and works for what I need it to do. For reference purposes, my dog is a medium sized chihuahua mix. I believe we ordered a small 2 pack just in case he strained his other leg while trying to compensate the other leg

They were a game-changer for our older dog!
We purchased these for our 17-year old Border Collie (you read that right!) who has been having problems with weakening hind legs. He has the gumption to get up and do all the things he wants to do, but he doesn’t have the mobility to do so. We bought these, and they were a game-changer! I bought the large for him, and I do think I should have purchased the medium, as they were a little long, however he did okay with them. They provide enough support to keep him standing up straight. It did take some getting used to for him when we put them on (I can’t say he liked wearing them at first, but he DID like the mobility he had while doing so). Now, he’s used to them and knows how to walk with them on. The velcro fasteners REALLY hold them in place. Make SURE to put the wider part on the upper part of the leg, and the more narrow part towards the bottom. Before long, he was literally jogging through the house when he heard the treat bag open. He went out into the yard and was roaming around, trotting, even..completely upright (no sinking on the back legs at ALL). Sometimes it’s difficult for him to get up with them on when he is laying down; other times he does just fine. He is old, and his time with us is limited these days and we want to make his remaining time is as enjoyable and comfortable for him as we can, and these really helped. He really is so much more mobile when he wears these. I would absolutely recommend these; just watch the sizing, and give your dog some time to get used to them. They won’t like them at first because they probably feel strange, and they will look funny trying to get used to them, but after the first couple wears, they’ll do great.

Helpful for post-surgery pain prevention
This brace provides an instant solution to & fast recovery from pain. After my dog's leg surgery, it restricted much of her movement. We could not afford post-surgery therapy at this time, but we wanted to give her as much comfort and pain-free injury recovery with an alternative but similarly effective way of pain management. I'm really happy that this brand provides two braces for the hind legs. It helps to support both legs at the same time while she's recovering from the surgical wound (in her left hind leg). I find the hock leg brace easy to put on, don't want to agitate the left leg. The braces adjust well to the shape of my dog's leg,so it fits comfortably... I love how the silicone ring design serves two purposes at here - prevents slippage and also protects the knees. I think the silicone ring is the key to keeping the brace firmly in place. I let my dog wear them during the day when she needs to go potty outside the house. Thankfully my dog has so far not chewed away her leg braces! The relief from her pain is visible in her demeanor. She still hasn't been in the best mood to play or exercise much, but the braces appear to help steady her, and that's a really good sign that she'll be back on her feet once more, given enough time... Small steps and we're going to get her to full recovery and this brace is a huge part of that process!
