It's 20 gauge core conductor, or 0.848162922mm diameter , or in layman terms less than a mm diameter stranded . This is high quality cable that I have used to make custom length RCA cables with, the stranded shielding is superior to most cables braided shielding. This is a pretty common center diameter if you have ever worked with this kind of cable.
