I've always been fascinated by rugby; I often play this game with my friends. It was nice to catch up on the history, and overall interesting facts about this sport.

This is a well written book that really gives you a great way to learn about the history of rugby in small doses. Everything I read, I had no idea there was such a long and rich history of the game. If you like or watch rugby at all at any level, you have to read this book. I equate it to a walking tour of the game. If you walk the streets in Europe and just look at attractions, you miss out on the color and what makes them special, unless someone explains to you what you are looking at and the background of the attraction. By reading this book, I can now see why so many people just can't get enough of this game. A great place to start and well done to capture the essence of the game by bringing your understanding to a new level.

This book is more than just facts about Rugby but a look inside a whole other sport that I am not used to. I am from America so the main sports that I know about are footbal and basketball, this book gives such a vivid view point of all the amazing points in history for rugby!
