Works as hoped for.
I'm using this mainly to hold a fairly weighty condensor mic at "just the right angle" for recording saxophone. The angle using the mics built-in mount was just short of what I needed, and I wanted to try this before reaching for a boom attachment. This seems very sturdy despite the low cost, and shows no sign of strain. The best is that I don't need to lose all the area that a boom would take up, so it's easy to recommend.

Great option vs gooseneck!
I bought this to mount a small monitor on a mic stand which it was perfect for. I originally used a 6” gooseneck but this is better because you can set it exactly and it doesn’t move like a gooseneck does. Great price, seems like it would hold up to gigging.

Quick fit and easy adjustments.
Works great for the price. Clio Pocket M-2 mic with adapter is perfect. This enhances adjustments.

Works great to place a Sennheiser on a pair of bongos!
Just what I needed to place a couple of Sennheiser's on drums that the clip will not attach to the rim. Very well made. Price is good.

Works Perfectly
I'm just glad this thing exists. Happy that some manufacturer has taken the time to make something that probably is not universally in demand, but does the job for a special application. It works precisely as I needed it to, which was to position a mic in a specific way with a long-armed boom mic. It holds the position indefinitely and is fairly heavy duty. So... good job.

All I could find, at the time.
I realize I'm being a bit harsh with my review, but...If your microphone setup is going to be on the heftier side, you should only get this if there's no other option, lest you wish your microphone to become a chandelier. My microphone + isolation shield combo is roughly over 3lbs., and I needed vice-grip locking wrenches to get this thing tightened up enough just to secure it. As of the moment, it can only dangle; it cannot be positioned any way but "down".One end has a grip that wears off if you're too rough when tightening, and the other end is completely smooth with the two holes for the allen screws being the only bit you can realistically 'hold on to'.

Better than Røde’s own attachment
I got this as an alternative to Røde swivel attachment for positioning my matched pencil mic pair. Not only does it have an insane mobility range, but it’s also made of metal instead of plastic, and it’s less than half the price. if you need mobility of positioning microphones at the end of a stand, this is my favorite option, and it’s also super tough and durable.
