Great for driving or riding a bike.
I have used these while driving a car a few times but mostly I use these when riding my bike to work.I think these are great gloves for 35 degrees Fahrenheit and above (more details below).I will base my review on form and function.Form: These gloves fit like a glove. ;) Seriously though, I ordered the large pair and am very happy with how perfectly they fit. They are snug but flexible enough to move your fingers easily. The gloves are basic black with power button symbols on the index finger and lightning bolts on the side. I think that these symbols are a bit cheesy and could be taken off. The rubber design on the palm is actually quite helpful for gripping. This is nice both for handlebars and a car steering wheel.Function: These gloves serve two basic functions; enabling you to use a smartphone, and keeping your hands warm. These work fantastically on a smartphone. I get surprisingly good precision while using these gloves. Not only that but because these gloves are thin and smooth, I can keep these gloves on while removing things from my pockets (like keys or my smartphone). As for keeping my hands warm; I will give suggestions based off my experience while riding my bike.20°F and below - Your hands WILL get cold. You will regret only having these gloves and your hand will go numb after 5 minutes (trust me)20°F - 25°F - Your hands will be really cold. Anything lower than 25°F you should consider doubling up and wearing a larger pair of gloves on top (totally doable with these gloves).25°F - 30°F - Your hands will be cold and uncomfortable.30°F - 35°F - Your hand will be cool and slightly uncomfortable.35°F - 40°F - Your hands will be cool but not uncomfortable.40°F - 45°F - This is the sweet spot. Your hands will feel great. Not too cool, not too warm.45°F - 50°F - Your hands will be warm but not uncomfortable.50°F - 55°F - At this point your hands will feel like you maybe don't need gloves anymore.55°F and above. What are you? Texan? You don't need gloves in this weather.

These glovesare perfect!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I like these gloves so much I thought that I better share my opinion on Amazon. These gloves are awesome! The finger tips allow you to use your phone and it responds to your touches. These gloves are a must have for early morning and late night walks in cold weather. I am able to totally use my phone on my walks. My Samsung S8 plus responds perfectly to it and my Garmin watch face responds to the touches even though the icons are super small on my watch. I like that that the gloves have a couple of rubber lines on the palms. When I am turning the steering wheel does not slip out of the palm of my hand. If you live in cold weather, I highly recommend these gloves. Now I don't have to put my hands inside of my pockets on my walks and I can use my phone while I walking. I am 5' 10" and weigh 162 lbs, with medium hands. The medium size is what I chose and they fit perfectly. So the sizing is true. You should get a pair of these!!

Touch Screen Approved
My Thoughts:I Purchased these gloves back in early December and have now had the chance to really use them. They are very similar to The Northface Etip Gloves but much less cost. The one thing I actually like much better about these are the anti-skid backing. This makes a big difference for driving, biking, or really whatever you need to hold onto. And with all gloves these days..if you have a smartphone you need a glove that can allow you to use the screen. These gloves are warm but certainly not that great for extreme cold. Its 14 degrees today and after 20 minutes outside my finger tips were getting cold from the wind.As for sizing I always wear an XL in gloves and this XL fit perfectly. They have a bit of a soft lining and that does add minimal bulk. Counting change would be challenging..but picking up larger objects is not.The Bottom Line:For me, I’m lucky to get one season out of gloves…so I’m going with the best bang for my buck and these were it.

No good for Trackpads
Be it that I had figured this would be good for my cold hands as I work on my computer, only the touch works for either my thumb or forefinger. Can't do two finger scrolling or three finger drags. So, basically useless for my desktop. I bought a medium size, as I figured my hands were small, but they were a bit too tight. Doing touch with my trackpad, it seems a little worse than with bare fingers. Sort of jerky and irregular. My phone has a screen protector, so requires some repeat attempts to use the touch features, and so by the trackpad use, I figure it'll be worse with the gloves. Bad purchase, but for the price, maybe i can find some use for this.Update: I find that this glove works on my Nikon S100 touch screen, and also my Apple Watch. It's handy for eliminating reflections from my hands by the windshield as I am running my Rove dash cam. It's supple enough for handling items, and keeps my hand with a good grip on my steering wheel, as I am driving.

Comfortable, good material, well made, easy use of phone.
They fit well. Nice material, keep my hands very warm even in 20 degree weather. I’m not an outdoor girl in that weather anymore since i’m OLD , but, most other gloves are much colder to me. Got my husband a pair that he also wears in vehicle, and he never wore gloves before trying these. He’s old too!I can easily use my phone with no problems. Will buy again, just to make sure I have a spare pair. Just go by measurements of hand length.

Soft and comfy, but not for truly cold weather
Overall I'm quite happy with these gloves. But calling them "winter" gloves might be a bit of stretch depending on where you live. In more northern climates I would consider them Fall gloves at best. But down here in Florida, they accomplish their job very well. Comfortable, and they work great with my phone's screen.
