PHILIPS Ultinon Access LED car headlight bulb (HIR2), ultra-compact direct-fit, 80%, 6.000K, set of 2

Bought these for my brother Toyota CH-R as his previous LED headlights had stopped working. The original halogen HIR2's that were in there were absolutely horrible, especially in night time. These are better than the previous LEDs and the Halogens put together, hands down. When going down country roads or A roads, we used to dread it when it came to night time driving, but with these, there's no worries anymore. They fit better and take up less space. The light is perfect and doesn't dazzle oncoming traffic too much, no worse than than the factory fitted ones car come with nowadays. The fullbeam on these is amazing, lights up everything if visibility is really bad and want to see where you are and where you're going. Brilliant set! Well worth the price.

Nice led lights, easy install like normal halogen lights. The brightness is great, lights not flickering and no error message on the dashboard. I will buy them again.

These LED light bulbs are fantastic! They were a breeze to install, and I'm so relieved that they haven't triggered any error messages on my dashboard. Plus, the light they emit is just perfect - bright and clear, making everything so much easier to see. Highly recommend. I used them to upgrade my lights on Toyota Yaris Icon Hybrid 2021.

Installed into Toyota Yaris 2019 1.5 Petrol Non-hybrid Automatic with halogen projector headlights. Had to remove the existing bulbs to determine what type i needed as different retailers claim different requirements - some say H4, some say H11 and others say HIR2. The existing bulbs were marked HIR2. Was surprised to discover both dipped beam and full beam are served by one single element bulb. I wanted to be sure the beam shapes of the new bulbs matched the old, so waited until it was dark, then pointed the car at a wall with the old halogen bulbs in and stuck bits of masking tape on the wall around the shape of the dipped beams. Replacing the bulbs was straight forward. I notice each bulb has a tiny fan integrated into its base - hopefully no dirt or detritus will fall into it. The shape of the dipped beams with the new LED bulbs seem identical, but with a much more uniform spread of light and no hot spots. I turned the lights on and off and turned the engine on and off a few times and there were no dashboard errors. I then drove about 10 miles in it, passing numerous vehicles and nobody flashed me. The improvement in visibility is remarkable - i am surprised it's still legal to drive with halogen bulbs. Hopefully the manufacturer's claim of 1500hr lifespan is accurate. Having said that, if they last just 10k miles i would say they are worth it over the dreadful halogens.

Wow, what a difference these LED bulbs have made. The original halogens were a dirty yellow colour and not bright at all. These Philips LED bulbs are a cool white and much, much brighter. They were a direct slot in replacement and whilst I can't comment on their longevity but my initial views are very positive and I would recommend.

Not even had it year not alot of night time use, but it's decided to stop working. Swapped bulbs over and yep it is the bulb faulty already. Poor

Brilliant! Replaced the dipped beam bulbs on a Rav4 with these and they are amazing. They are well focussed and don’t dazzle oncoming traffic. They are very bright and make night driving much less stressful

Väldig stor skillnad på ljuset mot de gamla halogenlamporna (Toyota Auris 2016), bra ljusbild med skarpa linjer/kanter och ingen verkar bli bländad. Bilen godkänd på besiktningen men är väl inte godkänd i Sverige i trafiken än vad jag vet.

Ero alla ricerca di un aggiornamento LED per i fari della mia auto (con attacco HIR2) che fosse davvero plug-and-play, senza bisogno di modifiche o adattatori ingombranti. Le Philips Ultinon Access LED hanno centrato l'obiettivo alla perfezione! Vantaggi Chiave e Prestazioni: Installazione Ultra-Compatta e Diretta (Direct-Fit): Questo è il loro punto di forza. L'installazione è stata velocissima, quasi come cambiare una lampadina alogena standard. Il design ultra-compatto significa che non ho avuto problemi di spazio all'interno dell'alloggiamento del faro. Luminosità Migliorata (+80%): L'incremento di luminosità rispetto alle alogene di serie è molto evidente. Il fascio di luce è più ampio e più bianco, il che ha migliorato significativamente la visibilità notturna e la sicurezza. Colore Moderno (6.000K): La temperatura di colore di 6.000 Kelvin (6.000K) produce una luce bianca fredda. Esteticamente l'auto è subito più moderna. ⚠️ Nota Importante sulla Conformità Stradale: È doveroso specificare che, secondo le norme attuali (in Italia e in molti paesi UE) relative all'omologazione, queste lampadine LED aftermarket non rendono il veicolo in regola per l'uso stradale. Tuttavia, un grande vantaggio di questo modello Philips rispetto a molti prodotti cinesi è la colorazione. Poiché la luce è un bianco puro (6.000K) e non tendente all'azzurrino (tipico dei LED di bassa qualità), risulta meno individuabile e più discreta rispetto ad altre alternative, pur garantendo una visibilità superiore. Conclusioni: Se cerchi un upgrade LED facile, potente e senza ingombri per le tue luci HIR2, e sei consapevole delle limitazioni normative, le Philips Ultinon Access sono la scelta ideale. Offrono un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo per una maggiore sicurezza e un look moderno e discreto. Le consiglio vivamente!

The item is working perfect for Toyota vitz 2018 model. Its very strong and quality led but packing was very poor and bad.

Acheté pour une Toyota Yaris MK3 celle qui possède des loupes dans les phares types de lampes HIR2 (9012), aucun souci de montage, le résultat est excellent, ils sont a priori homologués pour la route en Europe, on verra au contrôle technique et pour la qualité c’est le temps qui va me dire
