How many bags of sand to fill the box?

I first tried 5 fifty pound bags of play sand from OSH but that wasn’t enough. I believe I bought another 4 bags the next day.

can this canopy on this kiskraft sandbox be used as a cover to prevent animals and rain from affecting the integrity of the sand.

I have an 8-yr old and a 5-yr old. Would this sandbox allow enough room for them and maybe a neighbor to play in?

We bought this for my 3 year old at the time. He is now 5. I would say its perfect for 2 little ones ages 2 or 3, but as for two kids over 5, I would say it would be a bit crowded as my son barely has enough room to sit in middle and play with his toys around him. They would fit, but it wouldn't be very roomy.
