Cosmetology Mannequin Head Hairdressing Training Head for Hair Styling Practice Hair Braiding Dummy Head (03#)

I just received my mannequin head and prepped it for a cutting class. I didn’t notice any smells, it washed fine, and detangled with some shredding. But not an amount that was concerning. I feel like it was that same as a human head would shed after a wash and detangle. I left it to air-dry, and it’s beautiful.

The mannequin head was really great, and I experienced, just like the other reviews a lot of shedding but there is a ton of hair on the mannequin. the texture is really great I found that after I shampooed and conditioned with products that were specifically for synthetic hair, wigs and extensions that the hair really fell into place well.

Opening it straight out the box, it STINKED. To me at least, the smell was very overwhelming i had to open a window, just very chemically. Recommend washing her once you get it. She also shedded ALOT when i first took her out the box and ran my hand through her hair and still kinda does and its been like a month since i had her. Other then that she works great w/ practicing and w/ water all those things you need to do. Im sure shes good for what you need just get pasted those few things at the beginning and you should be okay.

I would give this zero stars if I could. Do not buy this if you are looking for an actual curly haired mannequin. Bought this as a gift and it looked just like the picture however, once washed and air dried the hair remained basically straight with only a very slight wave at best. Tried to work with the seller since this is clearly a defect when the product is advertised as having curly human hair but let's just say they were less than helpful.

I used the mannequin, but it lost 30% of its hair in the initial wetting before I started the hair cut. Functional to learn technique but terrible to use as a demonstration.

This was an awesome buy. Arrived much earlier than expected. Soooo excited. Hair texture and placement was excellent.

I bought two of these after using one provided for a haircutting class I attended. I originally thought I fried her hair after putting bleach on it. The curls weren't like they were when she came out of the box. However, once I used a second mannequin, I realized it was the hair.I only used it for a haircut. I always prep my mannequins beforehand by doing a wash. Once she was washed out, her hair was very straight in places and didn't have the curl definition she came in. I will not be purchasing it again. Invest in something a little more for better quality.
