Works great. I got a size smaller than I normally am. Just to make sure that my stomach would be held in for certain outfits, and even then not too tight but tight. Enough to smooth out my mom bulge. Definitely recommend great value for the money as it was on sale!

I highly recommend this shaper top over all the others. It does what the others can’t, as the others flatten your breasts. Yes, the others are looser in the breast area, but that looseness goes all the way around, however, thus flattening your breasts AND emphasizing your side back fat. this shaper smooths out your back fat and smooths out your side fat above the waist. Now mind you, this shaper is not to make you look thinner. That is called eating less. If you should try to use a body shaper to make you look thinner, you are just going to end up looking weird because it will merely push your fat to other areas. What this shaper does is smooth out your bodies irregular curves so that your clothes hang nicely. I recommend you order TWO sizes larger than your regular. It will be wider for your back and not dig in anywhere around your hips and still smooth you out. The best part is that people won’t really feel anything when they hug you unlike the ones with vertical stays around them.

I like this garment very much, but a couple things you should know. I bought the same one previously at a department store. It was a size extra large. I normally wear size 10 -12 clothing, so XL would normally be big for me. But in this garment I think you need to buy one size up. So, I already knew that I needed XL and it fits me fine. Just a heads up that you should go up one size. Last thing, I bought this one online because the one I bought in the department store tore at the left side seam within 3 months of buying it. It's not like I'm huge and trying to fit into a size too small - it was an XL after all. So, this was a replacement, and I did notice on the tag for the new one that it offers an unconditional guarantee. So I am going to figure out how to send back my old one and hopefully get that one replaced, as I wear this one very often and it would be nice to have a second one. But just beware that the side seams may tear.

Stretches enough that you can step into it and pull it up into place without being a contortionist. The rubberized strip at the hem does a good job of keeping it in place. The trunk is on the long side, so a really petite woman may find it a little too long. Some women may have a comfort issue where the garment comes under your arm and continues up into the strap; it sits pretty close to the body there (see product photo). Stretching your arm forward or reaching upward might, just might, cause a bit of chafing if your upper arms/upper chest are on the heavy side. Since I have thin arms, I've had no problem with it, but that's the only potential downside I've found. Perhaps best of all, there's zero problem when going to the bathroom. I'd strongly encourage you to give it a try, as it does a very nice job of smoothing out a modest muffin top, remains in place pretty well, and is comfortable enough to wear all day. Size-wise, I'm about 5'6" and weigh 140-145; the large fit me fine.

I have been looking for such a torsette since Spanks discontinued their open bust like this. I loved the fit of this torsette, the way it hugged and kept my older body (size 6) looking slimmer without the little bulges that show under a tighter t-shirt. This is the second garment as I exchanged the first because of the exact same problem. I thought it might have been just a sewing flaw where the threads came away from the side seams and the fabric looks bubbled. wrinkled. See photo. However the second one has the same problem. I took it on an 8 week vacation to Europe but only wore it a few times before the problem appeared. I like how it clings to my skind at the hips without a thick hem that shows through my tighter clothes. If the manufacturer could solve this problem and continue to make it I might suggest that the back be made a little lower since it shows at the neckline. A great garment I am afraid the torsette will eventually bulge out where the elastic has frayed.

This is a wonderful product. It is light and supportive and stays put (if you get the right size & wear cotton panties instead of silky ones). DO NOT put it in the dryer. It will destroy the gel at the bottom. If you wear it often & sit a lot in it, the pressure against the sides can make it break down quicker, which is the pictures that other people have shown. It is such a lightweight product that you're gonna want to wear it all the time, so you'll need to buy it again in 3 months, But it smoothes you where you want lifts you where you want and covers all back fats or bulges from the under arm at the bra. My suggestion is step into it, then pull the sides up one at a time, getting all your curves where you want them to be. I am 5'4" 170 lbs, had 5 children, purchased these 8 times, it holds & shapes all the loose skin giving me a lovely figure as well as support for my back. I purchase size medium for when I know I'm going to be standing most of the day. I also have a couple in large if I know I'm going to be sitting for long periods of time like road trips or flying. If I worked at a desk all day, I would probably only purchase the large but I work a job where I stand most of the day. Hope that helps!

I have used this brand before, love it and so searched and was so pleased to find it. The price is great. The fit is great and I know how long these last! Comfort, feel good, look good, all in one. Highly recommend. Now will try and find same one in black. Good news is, you do not have to be a contortionist to put it on!

Runs small—had to go up a size. The body fit well and was very comfortable until I attempted to place my arms through the straps! The straps have little flexibility and no adjustments, and after I struggled to get my arms through, there was not enough strap length for it to extend from my shoulder to the bottom of my bustline. It’s overall length was fine, but the length of the straps did not work for me. They cut into my armpits, and the upper portion covered the lower portion of my bust.

My second time buying this product beige and black , love the firm Hold feeling and gives a great Smooth look to your clothing Without squashing your bust line.

I never usually leave reviews but i love this so much. Im a size 14-16 and ordered the large. I love the style of this where it goes up your back like a vest, so no usual visible ines, and doesnt 'ride up' at the bottom. Its easy to put on and made me feel 'pulled in' in the tummy area. Like the way you can wear a bra as normal, without bust being squished. Will be buying more.

It is exactly what I was looking for. I bought the exact cami in local store and I was wearing it for few years. It must be hand washed. It fits me perfectly (5’3”, 125lb) and smooths out all of the rolls under tighter clothing. The silicone band at the bottom prevents rolling up so it stays where it should whole day. If it rollS up put some moisturiser on your skin. If the armpit area is cutting in, buy “skin glide” to prevent it. I encounter both with my very first cami and I’ve learned. It’s absolutely perfect fit!

Fit like a glove! Better than the ones ive purchased through maidenform - hoping it has the same durability.
