Don't know. I plan to leave the velcro up for next summer. Just take down the screen. I love this screen. Works great.

Q: Would this be able to keep cats safely in a outdoor porch? Like is the magnetic strip down the middle strong enough to not come apart if a cat jumped?

No I wouldn’t use this to keep your cats on a porch/garage. The magnetic strip is strong, but my street cats still are able to push it open to come in and eat when I feed them.
