Great flavor on the ribs
Ok up front I am the type of guy when I go to a steak house I order my steaks naked...no seasonings, but bring the A1.I also have been watching a BBQ show and this product is by one of the judges, so on 7/5/24 i tried this stuff a man let me tell you what WOW what a great flavor!!!!Along with this seasonings and sauce. Mann what great ribs.I would say this is worthy trying at least once for your self , and if you don't like it pass the rest over to a friend and let them try it.Oh the wife even gave a thumbs up on the flavor!!@

This is a delicious dry rub for pork ribs, chicken, venison, or just about any meat. It's the right combination of sweat and savory.

Amazingly tasty, has MSG
This rub has a powerfully good aroma. It smells very strongly of smoked paprika and has a lot of savory notes as described. The 10oz container is very large so you can use it liberally!If you're looking for a sugar-free rub this isn't it. There's a lot of crystalline cane sugar in this rub, about 50% by volume according to the nutrition facts on the side, and is quite sweet. That sugar helps preserve the rub adds quite a bit of color and flavor from carmelization during cooking.In terms of flavor this rub is really tasty, 5 stars tasty, but unfortunately the rub also contains MSG. If I'd noticed the MSG beforehand I wouldn't have ordered it at all so I have to drop a star for that.We used the rub (and some Tuffy Stone tips from his website) to grill some short ribs. They came out tender in the right places, with great bark and crisp where it should be, and OMG they were good!

Great on pork.
The first time I used this was on a Boston butt for pulled pork on a smoker. It was fantastic. I left off the bbq sauce at the end as some people I was cooking for didn’t like bbq sauce. I know, I know, pulled pork needs bbq sauce! Either way I tried both, with and without. The flavor of this rub was a hit.
