Loved it

Works as advertised, but the fact we *need* to plug in a USB dongle to use the keyboard is a bit silly to me. Wishful thinking that we could use the data port for this, but when M$ loves proprietary nonsense, it makes it impossible for us normal people to make good accessories that can make full use of the hardware. Maybe next controller model, maybe. With lights, expect the obvious controller battery life to be cut down a good amount.

Many keystrokes not recognized.. this was mostly a nuisance and frustration when it was supposed to make online gaming more fun and allow for quicker replies. Instead, the opposite occurred and I logged off to troubleshoot and eventually chose to begin an Amazon return of the item. **UPDATE: 5 stars! Seller reached out to me directly to replace item. This item was clearly defective from Amazon warehouse. The replacement has no issues and works as expected. The seller sent me a replacement after I had already received a full refund from just to show me their product works as intended. Customer service was top of the line and super fast.. honestly, it was quicker than the warehouse. This was a pleasant surprise and I would definitely order from the seller directly in the future if I could!

This keyboard is awesome for someone gaming and using needing to text communications with whomever online. It is drastically better than the digital keyboard. The brightness of the keyboard is super great and easy to swap colors the press of a button. The durability has not been any issue whatsoever as the construction seems to be solid, it is light weight, and snug fit to the controller. The connectivity of the keyboard is simple, but it is a problem in relation to the Xbox as there is only 2 USB connection ports. You have to be mindful of how many things will be plugged into the console, so just be aware of the trouble if there are already things plugging the ports (battery charger, external hard drive, etc.).

It's a fancy keyboard with to many quirky issues for the 'convenience'. I got this to replace a previous Xbox gen model that I've had for a long time and loved but sadly has started to have issues. Wasn't thrilled by the idea of learning a new key configuration in the way of where certain buttons were by comparison but figured I'd manage. Noticed all chatpads/keyboards now don't have the older models 'quick keys' for screen/recording captures....that's unfortunate, but hey, RGB....sure ok why not. 1/3 the price of replacing my current keyboard for an identical "renewed" one. Wishing I'd just spent the money for the 1-1 replacement. The issues: Keys either input multiple times when pressed only once, or not at all. Like many other reviews have stated, the need to hold Shift + QWERTYS to change the RGB inhibits the function itself for simple typing and resulting in needing to toggle caps for those letters. Unlike previous gen keyboards, the shift key needs to be held vs a toggled, single input key stroke. Holding the Shift key to input a caps of another letter often times results in the input of t just the desired key but also the last Shift + input (or several inputs) as well. Ex: Shift + p for P = P...then later, Shift + t for T = PT, rather frustrating to have to then backspace and do it again...sometimes multiple times before finally just getting the ONE desired letter. It lost easy access, quick keys such as mic mute, screen capture, and quick record being core ones I personally miss. Now requires a USB to function where the previous ones linked/powered by the controller, and functioned as an extension of the controller instead of a separate device. Somehow due to its power connection to the controller, if I should need to wake up my controller after prolonged inactivity, it's now a 50/50 chance I will need to disconnect the keyboard in order for it to actually turn on...never had that problem before with previous keyboards in any way. All in all I am having more consistent issues with this NEW keyboard immediately and over the course of weeks of use, familiarization, trial and error, than I have been having with my FAR OLDER and STILL WORKING (albeit with it's own 'wear n tear issues' due to age and use). I will be looking at trying other models but will be reluctantly looking at actual keyboard options vs controller mounted ones while I'm at it...so much for having a great product and just sticking to that while updating compatibility.

El teclado cumple con su función de escribir, pero los símbolos especiales (comas, puntos, interrogantes, etc...) no coinciden con las teclas y la consola no me detecta los auriculares cuando los conecto a través del jack del teclado. No recomiendo su compra.
