Do you have to download the app to use the scale?

Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for your question first. You can use the scale without the FITINDEX app but you can only get the weight on the LED display. can this be used with multiple users with different phone?

Yes. Please register and login your own account on the phone.

If multiple people use the scale is it possible to set it for more than one person? Can more than one person use the app?

Yes. The app on your phone can have more than one user, and you can load the app on multiple phones. I found it very easy to set up for two people.

Does this come with batteries?

Mine came with batteries. Be cause full not to throw them out. The scale comes wrapped between two styrofoam pieces. One of the pieces has a hole cut in it where the batteries are.
