Easy to use and smells fine
I bought this despite comments on the smell and I'm so glad I ignored them because it smells just fine! People must've gotten a defective product? To me it smells like cologne. It's very strong but nothing awful, it's a pleasant salon kindof smell. It also super conditions my hair nice and soft. I haven't checked my hair in the sunlight yet so I'm not sure how effective the gloss is just yet.

Do the results outweigh the smell?
No. Although it does seem like if you used it a few times, it would do the trick. I read through the reviews and I thought, it can’t smell THAT bad. I’ll try it. It does smell that bad. Actually it’s worse. It’s not just a chemical smell. I can handle that. No. No. No. It smells like wet dirty dog with a lovely hint of wet metal. If you think, well I can just breathe through my nose while I’m using it in the shower, you can…but guess what? The smell stays on your hair after you’re done. After you blow dry it. I gagged. Numerous times and thought, I’m gonna have to wash my hair again. My sense of smell is probably a little stronger than average, but I also love good smelling products. In fact, I have several for my hair. I like when my hair is up and when taking it down, I get a whiff of how amazing my hair smells. I used all those products today, every single one, to help with the smell. I even used perfume for your hair. A hair mist, if you will. Doesn’t matter. The glaze smell soaked up the good smells like a vampire who hasn’t had sustenance for centuries. So, here is to a Saturday smelling like wet dogs and metal. Hit me up when you make this “fragrance free”. Hope this helps.

Why so much chemicals!
I have medium brown hair and last year I did highlights in salon that turned green. Long story short, after many dyes and salon appointments, my hair now have reddish tint. I’m not a fan of this tint, especially that originally I wanted highlights. I found some glosses and products that help a little bit wash off fast and take longer time to apply. I saw this product and thought it’d be perfect solution. It says that brown glaze has green tint to it. It’s super watery so I applied it with my conditioner in the shower. Immediately upon opening the bottle my nose started burning - the smell is so strong, and so toxic! I currently try to avoid chemicals (which is why I let these bad highlights grow) and this stuff is more toxic than permanent hair dye. I’m disappointed. It barely took away green too (maybe I needed more product but my nose was burning so bad that I had to shower pretty soon) and this product is NON-REFUNDABLE! I just wish wish wish they didn’t put those extra things like that horrible toxic perfume.

Brassiness gone!
This stuff really helps the brassiness of my dyed hair after a number of washes and leaves it feeling very silky.

Bad Smell
I bought this over a month ago and had not used it until today. The smell is awful. I had to immediately wash my hair again to get rid of the odor. Too late to return the product.

Stinks SO BAD
It stinks so bad, it will make your hair smell like rotting wet dog, not worth it imo.
