This leash is my favorite so far and especially for the price! We recently adopted our dog and the people who run the rescue use these leashes. We are still working on leash training with our dog. She’s a big GSD and only about a year old and around 65 lb. She is full of energy and strength and still lacks self control. I went to all the pet stores and big department stores looking for a good leash and they are all so over priced and none had the double handle like this. The last leash I bought was just a basic webbed one to hold us over until I took the time to order one. The issue was that most of the time our dog did great on leash but when she would catch a new sent or see a squirrel she would pull really hard and I tried to wrap the leash around my hands so she didn’t pull me down and the leash would almost give me rope burn and cut into my hands so cushioning was something I needed.This leash honestly is amazing! Probably won’t be buying any others for our pup. It has everything I was looking for in a leash, double cushioned handle, reflectors, and even a clip for doggy bags. The second handle is in the perfect spot for training. I don’t know why I waited so long to order. You can’t beat the price and it’s way more heavy duty than anything I could buy at a store for that price. I can’t speak to the chewing durability. We keep the leash put away but I’m fully convinced our GSD would chew straight through it and honestly a wall if she was determined enough.

We have a 40+ lb super puller, super chewer, border doodle. We went through two leashes in the first few months of having him becaue he chewed through them. Then I found this leash here on Amazon and we’ve had it for many months now and no problems at all. Whether by coincidence or by design, the rubber brand label is at the exact spot that he normally chews through. And he doesn’t seem to enjoy chewing on that. Yay! I love the dual handles. Perfect for maneuvering through tight spots where I need more control or letting him have plenty of leash to play. The padded handles do make the leash more comfortable when he is in a pulling mood. The ring is perfect for carrying poop scoop bags. The clasp has been great with all types of collars (training, harness or regular) I would definitely order again.

the leash is pliable and the inter lining is soft - so much so that I wonder about how long it will last. Despite my misgivings so far it has shown to be durable. We use the leach with our Bouvier who is 60lbs now at 6 months and will probably reach 90 - 100lbs. This will be his primary leash. The length, extra handle, and general workmanship are the strong points - possible durability problems with the lining a "possible" drawback.

This leash is really great for control over a dog that likes to pull. The quality is excellent and very sturdy. The traffic handle is perfect for bringing my dog in close to me or when she gets a little too excited by someone riding by on a bicycle. My dog is 104 and this leash is perfect. I also love the fact that it is 7ft, the extra length makes a difference. Finally, my only negative about the leash is purely aesthetic...I would like more color options as I have a girl and buy as much pink for her as possible since she is often mistaken to be a boy. Overall, great leash and I plan to purchase an additional one to keep in the car.

Update:My shepherd mix is now 19 months old and I’m on my 4th or 5th purchase of this leash! It’s a great leash and pretty sturdy for anyone with an avid chewer or herder who doesn’t want to go where you do this leash is a god send and I don’t care how many I go thru - it’s easier to walk with the two handles and it’s only being replaced because my dog chews on the leash a lot still.Original post:It’s a great leash I love the 2 handles it’s easy to use w my 9 month shepherd Mix. I will say it’s not as chew proof as I would like but he is a puppy and it’s been holding up to many days of being herded by my Jasper who likes to tug on the handle and pull me in the direction HE wants to go in! I just bought a second one and honestly don’t think this will last more than 3-4 months but I would keep buying I don’t care - the second handle is in the best position to give my pup a little space to sniff and walk where as some of the others on the market it’s right near their face.

I love this new leash! I have a strong, hound dog that loves his walks. We have tried the retractable leashes, but they always break or my arm gets sore from his pull. This leash has a strong, wide, cushioned handle. Leash itself is a good width. Then the lower handle is at the perfect distance for when I need to quickly bring him close to my side without choking the living daylights out of him. He is already getting a good feel of his "freedom" length and is not pulling me so much anymore. My arm thanks you! We just bought two of these leashes for our very active, young Portuguese Water Dogs. I chose them because our one-year-old Portie is a voracious chewer. We have not let her sink her teeth into this leash yet, so can't say if it will survive her gnawing. What's great about these leashes is that they are a little longer than the standard leash and the second handle is in fact very handy. We've only had these leashes for a week but both my husband and I like them a lot. I didn't rate the chew proof because we are not giving our voracious chewers a chance to get her teeth on this leash. Will update if she manages to outwit us. The price is also very reasonable. I highly recommend this leash.

I was looking for a double handled leash to help with walking my (deaf) American Staffordshire. I have used many different types training apparatus' and nothing is working. I purchased the leash along with a padded gentle leader. The use of the handle closest to his collar works very well, I can keep him close and walking near me without causing rope burns on my hands as did other leashes I have used having to deal with constant pulling. The leash is made of heavy duty material and is of good quality. Was less expensive than anything that I have found locally at the pet stores and came within the time frame I was told it would arrive.

Great leash, good length easy to hold, my dog doesn’t chew it so who knows about other dogs.Had it for a few months now and no Tears or Fraying of stitching

The Only Negative About This Leash Is That Is Was Way Too Long For What We Needed. We Have Month Old Puppies We Are Training In Heel Walking As The Second Handle Was Great The Rest Was Way Too Long.

Truly Amazing!! I am buying 2 more as it would be great to have one in truck and another at back door as to keep easy access. Durable, thick, and far better than any others I have bought! Thanks for your great product.
