When they are good they are very good, however sometimes some colours are not like the old ones. I still keep getting them though!

Only 1kg - My mistake but not good value compared to most others
There is absolutely nothing wrong with these sweets, they are delicious, especially the black ones which are traditional liquorice gums! It was my own fault for not being particularly attentive, but I believed I was ordering a 3kg bag, as I have done so from Amazon previously. £17.49 for 1kg is terrible value for money, when original Lion Midget Gems are around the same money for 2kg, and even cheaper if you buy multiple 2kg boxes. I really should pay more attention to the detail! Great sweets, just not good value.

Reminded me of sweets, so I bought them when I was a lad good value for money, and the size and hardness were memorable
