You need to make your mind up how much your willing to pay.
So the 5 stars are based on the other similar Makita batteries i have. The new ones work and that's all I can say at the time. I have tried using various replacement batteries but to be honest some die on you and the charge doesn't last as long. I mean they are cheaper and are fine for short job uses. I have had some Makita batteries for12 years and they are still working fine. Guess you get what you pay for.

Only got 1 battery but the product description clearly states 2-pack. No way of getting in contact with the seller and Amazon only offers return. I want my second battery… The one battery I got is working though
