Much better than the reviews suggested
Bought 2 as a fancy dress prop. I already have a toy one that looked quite real but was green plastic so I stripped it and sprayed it, but needed a pair this time. I was quite happy with the price just for a prop since it looked real straight out of the box, not even an orange tip to paint, silencer gives options too. So I didn't mind if they didn't actually fire. Lack of instructions were the downside, couldn't find the mag release button but someone on the reviews had posted information on that and I found it - it is silver on mine rather than black as shown in the picture or I would have found it faster. I've also used real handguns at a local shooting range so I loved just how good this replicated everything. Apart from shoving the tip into the casing, and obviously the weight, it is the same experience from loading the clip to the firing and cartridge ejecting. As for the Israel comment on here, that is just authentic since real Desert Eagles have similar stamping, and it is clearly shown in the picture. I'd agree it is not suitable for kids, too real, and they'd get bored easily having to reload it though. Nerf guns are available. As for quality, both work and fire well, maybe too well! A lot of it is in the clip loading, even a real handgun will jam if the clip isn't loaded right. Again, lack of any instructions does not help. I'd say this is an exceptional adult toy and fancy dress costume prop - shame it isn't a Beretta 92FS, but no-one will notice.....

Great prop and more sturdy than it looks.
Some poor reviews on here but decided for the price I’d take the risk. Used as a fancy dress prop so not really critical how the soft bullet system worked but when tried it worked well. It’s lightweight and holds up ok - you can feel the plastic parts squeaking a bit when you squeeze it tightly but I’m not complaining for the price. Got a few jams which only happened when first cocking the thing after putting in the ammo mag - double cocking cleared it each time. , the whole thing looks and feels fragile but it’s surprisingly tougher than it looks it held up well when the adults had a mess around with it. The cartridge eject worked ok. Mag doesn’t fall out. The downside is the purchase is a bit stingy with the cartridges - could have done with some spares- you get spare foam bullets but no cartridges. It’s not a kids toy, at close range a shot into an eye even with the foam bullet would be nasty. So in summary it’s a good purchase as a prop. Marked down a star for the lack of instructions. Suppressor supplied not as shown - no lettering on it - poor really just a plain plastic tube. Not used. Below is how I used it - loading ammo and mags - Tip - just push the red and black foam bullet into the bigger opening end of the cartridge - red tip first - you don’t have to get the bullet into an exact spot in the cartridge - anywhere inside it will work - just don’t have it sticking out of the cartridge, at all. Load the mag with the fatter end of the cartridge at the back of the mag, slimmer end at the front. Load by pushing cartridge directly down into the mag - the plastic jaws will spread to let you do that. Don’t try to slide the cartridge into the mag from the back or front the jaws can’t spread - it won’t go in - only press them into the mag from the top. EZ PZ.

Do it!!... I wasn't expecting a lot if I'm honest but these are actually awesome ! I got 2, they sit well in my hip holsters, they look great! The bullets and extra clips are cool, but.... the silencer.. EPIC haha! Buy it :D

Great for cosplay and as a prop.
Nice looking gun. Good aas a prop or for cosplay .it is a little shorter than original desert eagle gun. But love it . I dont intend to use the bullets ,it does eject the cartridges. The silencer is not the one pictured. But it dont matter to me as im using it as a prop stand alone . So i rec it for anyone doing cosplay . Also its more for adults not children .

Worse than a toy
Not very fun at all. There is no instruction manual. The toy is fiddly to set up . You cannot aim properly and the bullets get stuck inside the barrel. The bullets dont go very far . They just land at your feet. Not fun at all..
