Highly recommended by others as a tool to very quickly get you out of a tricky situation without breaking the bank.I have it for kayaking and I’ve not used it in anger yet and frankly I wouldn’t mind if I didn’t. It’s sharp and I’ve no doubt it would cut through rope very easily.I would say, I wish the clip was on the opposite side as it would make it more comfortable to use but it’s a minor niggle.

Got this for my boat, very pleased with how it performs. Tough synthetic lines on a boat can be very difficult to cut through, often you have to saw away for ages before getting through them. This one goes through like the proverbial butter. Very reassuring in the event of the emergency you hope you'll never have!

Could do with a spike on it too, but otherwise a great product - sharp and effective. Keep this readily available and never lets me down.

I have had this knife quite a while now. Each time I kayak I wash it in tap water. Provided its kept clean...I have had no problems with rust. It slices through rope extremely well. Good quality.

It's alright, but it started dusting before I even got in from my first sail, and continued after I had washed and cleaned it. Absolute pain to clean the rust out as I can't disassemble it, and has somewhat of a tendency to jam slightly.
