Love it for transferring my videos to media storage off my phone

Getting this backup to work was no easy task. I hooked up the device according to the manual and downloaded the software. After several attempts to get the backup working I contacted the development company by email, attaching several screenshots and a photo of the device hooked up to the phone showing the green light on. To my surprise they responded the next day with complete detail instructions. After following their instructions the unit worked immediately. The one thing to beware of is I couldn't walk away from my phone while it was backing up. When the phone screen shut off the device stopped working (green light went from blinking to solid. Blinking indicates it's backing up data. The description of the unit says photo backup. It's much more, it backed up all my data files. I do like this and will continue to use. I recommend it to anyone wanting to backup and transfer data.

If it backs up files as well, I’m not sure how to do it. It did back up all my photos easily.

If only I had a nickel for everytime a family members says "My phone is full and I don't know what to do with my photos!" This is the answer. Very compact and functional as it will backup both photos and phone contacts. The required app (iStore Pro) did not seem intuitive at first but I got more comfortable with it after a couple of uses. There is a setting option where I chose not to back up my contacts.The provided mini user guide is above average; it is a very small booklet but has nice sized fonts and diagrams and even has a table of contents up front. The customer support email address is provided in the very first section.Probably the best feature is that the app "knows" which photo files it has already backed up so that it only backs up new photos added since the last time. So, after the initial backup the others process very quickly. It comes with a 256 GB micro SD card, but will take up to a 512 GB card. According to my calculations that means you can store nearly 50,000 average size phone photos! Love it!

Have a galaxy zflip 3 and it does not work. Looks previously used as sd card was already inserted in unit and after downloading app I get the message device not connected. Extremely disappointed.

Doesnt work, doesnt transfer any media files. Not automatic.

I take a lot of photos and videos with my phone so I was thrilled to find a quick and easy way to back them up. You just download an app and plug your phone in to the cube, then the cube into your charger. Once plugged in you open up the app and it will ask you if you would like to backup the photos. You do go through a few permission prompts as well. The first time it took about 45 minutes to back up all my photos but I had a lot, over a thousand. Since then I plug it in every few days just to back up the new photos and it is really quick. I highly recommend this little cube.
