The fiber tip is approximately 1/4 inch diameter allowing for precision work.You can modify the abrasive action of the pen by the length of the exposed fiber bundle (short equals more abrasive action, longer equals softer abrasive action).These pens have a long lasting supply of glass fiber that can be advanced by rotating the rear cap of the pen. That supply - for my use cases - lasts over six months.Overall, a very useful, well-made gadget to clean and (intentionally) scuff hard and soft surfaces. And the price is right.I will certainly buy more (in a few years, because these last a good while).Highly recommended.
