The Sensual Goddess Tarot Deck

The changes this deck has made to the traditional deck wouldn't have made much sense a 100 years ago when gendertypes were adhered to far more strictly than they are today. Woman now fight side-by-side with men as their equals in the armed forces. They occupy jobs previously considered to be for men only.The Knight cards in this deck are depicted by a female instead of a male. Skirts showing a womens knees was once considered too short. How long are they now? If the nudity contained within this deck offends you, then too bad. It's only a matter of time until the taboos of today have been transcended and the natural female body will no longer offend the prudes of our society. The Knights in this deck are all female and for good reason. Women have fought hard to get to where they are now and there is no reason to think they will stop any time soon.Many other cards in this deck have evolved to either keep up with the ways our society has evolved or have adapted new symbols to convey what the card is trying to communicate more clearly to the person reading them. By replacing of the Tower of Babel with the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers this deck has taken a fictional story from the Bible that nobody could relate to and used an event that actually occurred in order to convey its intended meaning more clearly.5 stars!

I used to work with Tarot & Angel Cards 15 years ago & found I had a real ability to use them in such a way as to help people heal. I combined intuition with the cards & worked with victims of crime, I did this as part of my career. After many traumatic life events I found myself to be a victim of PTSD & this correlated with distancing myself from my own intuition. Then I met Fred Potter, the designer of these cards. I have seen much of his work & believe these cards to be some of his finest. I love the sensual & erotic images as they help me focus on that Prana & Tantric energy we all have within us. They are beautiful & artistic but that is only part of their power. Physically the cards are probabaly the most well constructed deck I have ever seen and they come with some really helpful instructions as to how to use them. I started reading about Tarot again & mostly from the included instructions about this deck I have started reconnecting with my own intuition. I found that when it comes to pain it's always fear based & to overcome pain intuition is key. I have a lot more work to do but buying these cards has put me back on a path of healing.

These cards are large in size, not easy to shuffle until you work with them for a while. the art work is well done and i am very pleased with the quality. a very good purchase for me. But not for everyone. DO NOT buy if you have children in your house. These are for ADULTS ONLY !!! should be used by people 21 years of age or older. I have been doing tarot since 1985.

I'm not impressed with the workability of this deck. It is stiff and doesn't riffle shuffle well which is only a preference. The card stock isn't of great quality and the imagery isn't for me. I do not connect easily with this deck and it is one for a give away. I do not feel Goddess Energy with this deck. The cards are digital so the artistry is just that ... digital. Not a deck for me. Comes in a flip top box.. Cards are standard size tarot. The quality of the deck is in line with the price. Disappointed as I was looking forward to Goddess Energy. I give this 3 stars for the affordability and the quality of this deck matches its priceline. Any qualms I have are personal and nothing to do with craftsmanship.

Since Classical times up until at least 1910, pretty ladies, between puberty & menopause, in clothing that's not conservative, have been representative symbolically of all mankind's highest spiritual ideals.This consensus is a historical fact.Glamor Photography is the format used. To condemn this body of work because you don't like that style is irrational.It does what was intended. Present this theme without fear or favor to those who want to get in touch with their creative feminine side. It reminds me of the Kung Fu TV series. When they talk about acknowledging parts of our natures without acting on them. Equilibrium ! But it does more.It suggests, at least to me, that we don't have to be limited to the temporal & forget the eternal.By showing me the a different, wider perspective, it leads me to question my own boundaries & assumptions in a non-confrontational way.--Rick & Katherine. Wanted a sensual and romantic deck. Was choosing between two options and ordered these by mistake. I hate them. I've never wanted to return an item before and I was almost prepared to pay double as much for the shipping as the cards cost just to get rid of them. The images are unattractive, heavily photoshopped, the wigs, the poses… ugh. And the ugliest 10 of Cups I've ever seen. Will probably give them away or "lose" them. Be very attentive when ordering this deck and look through all the pictures as suggested in the description - I really don't see what the other reviewers enjoyed about the cards so much.

I think they did good with the tarot deck is diferent from what i am use to .so this is a good change i love the cards also im posting a pic so people can see in the bottom of the box it does say (adult material contains nudity). So if people dont read it and then want to complain about it maby you should have read it before you bought it js. So all im going to say i am Defenetly glad i did get them they are really good cards and do recomend them to open minded people .
