Really comfy and warm middle calf boot. Im a size 7.5 so I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly. Great price for a real suede leather boot. Very pleased with my purchase

TL;DR - despite the polar opposite reviews, these are comfy, warm boots that seem well enough made for the money paid, but that do require a bit of careful wearing. I bought these as part of my wife's Christmas, and she did quite a bit of research before buying. The reviews for this product are a mixed bag and she nearly didn't get them because of it - people either seem to love them, or are complaining about a real drop in quality since their last pair. I never normally write such long reviews, but given the dichotomy in the reviews, we wanted to try to give my wife's perspective on each of the issues brought up. Overall, we paid £32 for them, and she's pretty happy with them; nice and cozy, and comfortable too. Though with the slight drop in quality eg the sole, she wouldn't have been happy to pay much more for them, and certainly not the £85 right price quoted. Fit - as expected. She is a UK 6, ordered a 6, and they were lovely and snug. She has fairly slim calves, so we can't provide any more feedback on that particular issue, but her toes certainly weren't all cramped up like some people have mentioned: there was just the right amount of foot room in both width and length. Nice and warm on the feet and calf, and comfortable to walk in so far (after a few weeks). Quality - they seem well sewn together, zip seems sturdy enough so far, and the lining feels nice and thick. Some people mentioned a drop in the quality of the rubber of the sole, and based on older Rocket dog boots we'd have to agree it does indeed seem more rigid and less flexible, though it doesn't seem to have impacted her comfort when walking in them. Plastic insert in heel to keep boot shape - some people mentioned this bursting through the lining, or just cutting into them making the boots unwearable. We can absolutely feel this hard plastic insert, and it feels as though it might be slightly too pinched into the achillies tendon, which she can see would definitely have the potential to cut into your foot. However, the plastic insert seems well sewn into the lining, and hasn't seemed to cause any problems yet; perhaps due to the fact there is a little room for her foot to move backward and forwards, as opposed to her foot being crushed up in it. In the first few weeks if wearing, she could definitely feel that it had the potential to rub/hurt, had she not worn 2 pairs of socks, but they've now slackened off sufficiently that they are very comfy. She would also agree with another reviewer who said that the can handle getting a bit damp in lightish rain and that drying them off under the radiator seems to work well

What an amazing pair of boots, so warm and comfortable, wore them for the first time yesterday, very comfy, I need wide fitting shoes/boots but these had ample room , which is nice.. well worth the money in fact I got them in a sale and when they arrived I was surprised at the quality of the boots.. I was really impressed.

I love my boots. Very comfortable, warm and easy to get on/off. Very pleased with the purchase. I'd recommend getting a cleaning kit to keep them looking fabulous.

The boots are super comfy but Im glad that bought when on offer. Just over a month and the sole inside start breaking... and soon after the outside start falling apart as well. So lovely boots but as durable as was hoping for.

Unfortunately, I had to return mine because of the fit but, they really are lovely boots at a superb price and, real suede. I need to wear orthotics because of foot surgery and, I have very wide feet. I posted questions about these boots because the information I needed pre-purchase was not in the description so, if you have feet like mine, you will need to know this: 1. The insoles are not removable. They are not just glued in, the insoles form part of the boot. 2. They are so roomy, that you can place your orthotics onto the footbed and still have room for your foot - the problem I have is that my orthotics have a slight heel, they are not dead flat and so I, personally, found the boots uncomfortable because the orthotic did not sit correctly in the boot. 3. I am a size 6 (mainly for width, not length), and could possibly have gone down a 1/2 size,, these are very, very roomy, you could wear thick socks. The boots have a side zip, an exceptionally round/square toe and are chunky looking. They are beautifully made, lovely quality and, but for that I needed to wear orthotics, I would have kept them.

There are not many boots true to actual size, but these definitely are, no need to order a size up or down. They are really well made. fits perfectly on the calf, with warm fur lining that is not over thick. Good strong zip with a little bone on the end, a nod to Rocketdog, no doubt. Good suede and a good stable sole. The squared off shape toe part will give you room to add socks and so helpful for such as I who have hammer toes.I like the two toggles on both boots. Ps if you wonder what the crackly sound is when you put your feet down to walk, it is only the two pull off stickers on the sole lol. Comes in a handy box too, Ideal for all my full size music books! Well done Rocketdog. Great boots.

vraiment tres chouettes, belles et confortables avec de l'espace pour les orteils. taille un peu juste mais semble ok. je me rejouis l'hiver pour les essayer vraiment.

I really like these boots. The fabric inside is very warm and the boot is very attractive and comfortable. NOTE! The shoe is a WIDE fit - the toe is square shaped.

Warm and of a good quality

NOT suede or sheepskin as advertised. Sole of the shoe is hard plastic and so slippery unwearable.

Diese Stiefel sind echt der Hammer!!! Superbequem, vorne mehr Platz als bei herkömmlichen Schuhen, sie sind warm und der Preis stimmt auch!
