Perfect Activity for the Car
I got this for my 4 year old, and she loved it right away. It's lightweight and easy for her to hold in the car. We are always looking for car activities to swap out. There is no string for the wand, which I imagine could be easily lost, especially with younger kids. We haven't had it that long, though, and so far she is good about putting it back.

Despite ASMR vibes for adults, it is for the grandkids. Constructive, safe play for the littles.
First, all the little parts are contained inside the Board. Board is sealed. The stylus is 4 inches long and .4 inches diameter and blunt. The stylus and the cards meant to be copied are the only loose parts. The idea is you take one of the many included cards, place in front of you (a slot exists for this purpose at the top), and you pick up colored metal dots with the magnet end of the stylus through the clear plexi and pull away at the right place to drop them.Duplicating the pattern takes a bit of focus, and picking/dropping the dots requires some eye-hand coordination. Perfect for the littles, and sort of oddly engaging for older kids/parents/grandparents.Two cons and they are weak:1) After storage or shaking inverted, the dots can get double-stacked in the selection tray. No biggie, but get them sorted (a little shaking in the right orientation) before handing it over. Or enjoy the frustration when little Thurston gets to the end and shaking the last two pieces to un-stack wrecks his progress.2) Someday, soon, the cards and the board will not be at the same place. I will be attaching (maybe stick-on hook and loop) a re-sealable food bag to the back to store the cards. The board should come with something that does this. Because kids.I like this. It seems engaging and yet mostly child-proof. The sweet spot.

Amazing educational toy!
I got this for my 22-month old daughter and she absolutely LOVED it. She has played with it for hours and we even take it on car rides. My older daughter sometimes plays with it too and has fun making the designs while the youngest one just enjoys picking up the dots and dropping them in the slots. This toy is colorful, safe, and has really helped my baby practice fine motor skills and remain engaged in something other than her tablet. Highly recommend!

Simple to use
Our young granddaughters loved this...although at first they thought the magnets were M&Ms. It was simple enough that the 3 year-old could follow the pattern. I worry that the cards and the stylus will get lose, wish there was a string attached to the stylus and a storage spot for the cards. All in all a great toy.

Fun!
This is fun for free play or to use with the designs provided. My toddlers enjoyed the free play and creating their own designs, and my oldest enjoyed following the suggested designs. This would be a great quiet and mess-free way to keep a child entertained on a flight or long road trip.

Great!
This is the second one of these I’ve gotten. My sister runs a sped class with heavy learning delays and says this helps a lot with hand eye coordination

Great learning tool
This is a great learning tool for kids probably suitable for age 3 to 8 to help learn pattern repeating.

Great for fine motor skills
The media could not be loaded. I have a 5 year old who is currently in preschool and working on fine motor skills and writing. This magnetic drawing board is perfect! He is working on instruction when using the pattern, separating the colors and fine motor with the use of the magnetic pen. It works well and it's fun to use.10/10 would recommend.
