I purchase quite a bit from Amazon due to the variety and convenience. This kettle is one of my top three purchases. It is so easy to use and boils water very quickly. It lights up with a blue light as the water is being heated and turns off automatically when it is finshed heating. It is so convenient to use. I love the look, price, and functionality of this kettle. It would make a great gift for tea drinkers or for anyone that needs to boil water quickly such as for ramen soup.

This electric kettle is both beautiful and functional; boils water fast and looks great on the counter! The glass and stainless steel design feels high quality, and the auto shut off and boil dry protection add peace of mind. The removable lid makes cleaning a breeze. A tea lover’s dream gift!

I purchased this for a friend after purchasing the same model at Costco. My friends and I LOVE this pot. You can choose from several temperature settings. There is a feature which keeps the tea warm, but it doesn't run so long that it makes your tea taste bitter. It will shut off if there isn't enough liquid. Easy to clean. Will take tea bags pr loose leaf tea. Easy to the tea inside. Pretty colored lights, easy to read LED display. Just a great tea maker for 1/2 liter or more. Holds 1.8 L, which is a lot of liquid.

This is a great kettle for boiling water. Being glass, you can see the action and be prepared to respond when the kettle is ready, and the glass clarity allows you to see how much water you're putting in and if it's adequate. I used a Cuisinart stainless steel kettle for years, and while solid quality that never failed, I wanted to be able to see how much water I filled it with. 16 ou. for a 6 ou. cup of tea is absurd, but very much an event in my daily life until after several years of use, I could judge the approximate amount by the kettle's weight in my hand.But bravo! those days are gone!Not important, but it looks cool on the counter instead of old fashioned, is a breeze to use and clean and functions perfectly! I chose this model specifically because he lid comes all the way off, allowing ease of cleaning.If you want an easy kettle to use, and to see how much water you've set boil, try this kettle and I am betting, you won't regret it.

It's stylish, smooth contour, feels solid, top snaps in nicely. H2O boils in about 8min for full pot. One thing that troubles me is the power cord and plug. They get warm and that suggests to me the wire gauge might be a bit low for 1500 W application. It says it's UL 1082 and my understanding is some appliances in 1082 require a ground. This unit does not have grounded plug perhaps it's exempt. See my pics the temperature at the plug started at 78.8F OFF the ON 3 minutes 85.5F at 6 minutes it's 89.4. it maxed at just under 92F when shutting OFF at about 8 minutes. The cord and plug are warm to the touch . Other than that it works well.

We purchased this kettle because my husband travels to Ireland for work, and loves being able to fix himself a cup of tea without having to wait for our traditional kettle to warm up on the stove. This kettle heats a full carafe of water in about 3 minutes, max. Once the water comes to a rolling boil, it automatically shuts off. The water stays hot for about 10-15 minutes. We use it daily and it has worked perfectly.
