Kitchen tools that are meant to be submerged in hot oil and pasta water shouldn't cost too much, as they will always wear out and need to be replaced. This one is fairly priced and gets the job done.

Very useful tool
It can be used for many different types of cooking. Pasta, shrimp, as well as deep fried items. Inexpensive, sturdy. Use your imagination, you’ll find it very useful. By its nature, it may take some effort to clean, depending on the dish you’re cooking. But that’s just par for the course. That’s the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. But that’s just being honest. It shouldn’t be a barrier to purchase.
