I have four of these gates in black . I bought the gates that are the tallest as I have three large dogs. I needed to block off areas in my home from the dogs. I thought wow tall gate maybe that will intimidate my band of merry and active dogs! One dog being a Doberman, the other two dogs just slightly smaller. I was RIGHT! They have not tried to jump on the gates or tried to get through them. No, they are not cheap but they are worth it! I love that you can install them in different ways. For instance I didn't want the hardware for this gate to be in the hallway. I worried it would take away from the width of the doorway and would then interfere with moving furniture or carrying laundry through the doorway. So I had the hubby install the gate for me in a different way. (I posted a couple pics for you to see how we mounted the gates.) In doing it this way the gate is totally out of the way. I installed two of the gates myself and had no problems. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. I have received compliments on these gates, and have had friends purchase them as well for keeping their children safe around stairs. These gates have a neat feature that locks the panel in place so they are taunt. I had two of the gates for over 11 months and they look and feel just like the day they were installed. They have been durable, so far so good? They are perfect!

We’ve had it outside for a few months to keep the dogs reigned into one area and the only thing that would be better is if they included anchors that go into the ground so the dogs couldn’t push underneath. All in all it’s the perfect little fence

The media could not be loaded. We have two 80 pound golden retrievers who get very excited when people come over, especially if we are entertaining on our deck.We wanted to contain them to the grassy part of the yard but still be able to see them. This GRAY retractable mesh gate system was the perfect solution. It is very easy to open and close with one hand. We chose the 42 inch height since our dogs stand about 34 inches tall themselves.The gate was easy to apply to our fence post and is very easy to open and close as needed. The vertical ribbing provides additional support to keep the mesh panel from “Bowing” in the wind.We already have a gate like this on another part of the yard that has withstood weather conditions for several years, so I’m optimistic this one will do well, too.This is not just for kids, y’all! 🐶 🐾

I have two of these and I love them. Super easy to install. The only downside is my children have realized you can lay down and slowly wiggle under them if you try hard enough. You will break a bracket if it's being leaned on a lot but Amazon does sell replacements.

WE have a new darling tiny puppy. We wanted to keep her in the kitchen area. This is a large room in our home. This did not work as well as I thought it would. Our new little smarty pants crawled under it. Then we figure out a way to block it with a 2 x 4 length of wood with a rug wrapped around it. She then started to eat a hole in it. It may work better when she is older. It would work for children and probably larger dogs that are older and trained.

Easy to install however 3 stars because it is missing the anchors and I contacted customer service. They got back to me right away requesting the order number . I sent invoice and they never contacted me back. Tried 3 times to get a reply and nothing

I bought this 48” gate to keep my 1.5 year old safely out of the kitchen while my dog eats to ensure both the baby’s and dog’s safety around food. The gate was delivered on 8/27/24 and installed on 8/28 per the manufacturer instructions. Today on 9/10/24 my 20lb baby was playing and tripped onto the gate. The bracket holding the gate to the wall snapped in half and sent sharp plastic flying, luckily I was standing right next to my baby because the broken bracket left a 3 inch cut in my leg exactly eye level to my baby. Had my leg not been in the way the gate plastic would have cut her face and eye.I bought the extra protection plan at the same time as the gate so as soon as I calmed my baby, checked her for injury, and tended to my injury. The protection plan DOEA NOT COVER THIS BRAND. I had to call Amazon customer service twice for assistance.DO NOT BUY THIS GATE! It is made of cheap plastic brackets that snap in half under slight pressure. It is dangerous and should not be used around babies or pets!

I particularly liked this product because it has built in stays for extra support. It was easy to install and is easy to use. This is a barrier screen and not a fence or other rigid fence so keep that in mind. I’m pleased with the purchase, I only wish there was a much taller one.
