Q: Where are they made? They say responsible fashion, but if it is communist China there is no such thing.

Not sure if that's where they ate made but it was a part of Britain years ago then became communist. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP), officially the Communist Party of China (CPC), is the founding and sole ruling party of the People's Republic of China (PRC).

Q: Would these be good for going running in?

I'm not sure if they would be good for running but it gives good support for walking all day. Physically I am unable to run, I'm fairly old. But I have been very happy with these shoes, they're easy to put on, they are. easy to wash.

Q: Besides the technology being internal, how does this shoe compare to the Athens? I love the Athens and I thought this might have a slimmer profile.

This was my second Kizik purchase, and I liked the immediate, comfortable fit. They were slimmer looking then the Athens. I liked the athletic look of my Athens, but this shoe had a more casual appearance.
