Really exceeded my expectations
I bought this keyboard at $21.99 so I could practice taking it apart and replacing switches before I order a keyboard in the $200 range as I’ve recently become obsessed with the custom mechanical keyboard hobby. So, as a novice who has done tons of research but doesn’t have any experience, here’s what’s awesome about it:- Hot swappable switches- Can be easily disassembled from the top, so don’t worry about having to remove the rubber feet on the bottom. They don’t hide any screws.- It is GORGEOUS. WOW.- The RGB lights are per key and there are a ton of different modes and light settings easily accessed by using the Fn key in combination with the light settings keys. I was able to figure it out without the manual. There are adjustments for speed, brightness, color, and light mode.- I’m pretty sure someone lubricated the stabilizers which is just attention to detail I didn’t expect for $22- Sound dampening foam is included under the PCBCons:- “Gaming” is spelled “Gamming” on the box which really doesn’t detract from the keyboard at all (lol)- My caps lock key was installed upside down upon arrival but not a big deal because I just took all of the key caps off anyway!- This keyboard is designed to use optical switches so if you want to replace them just make sure you get other optical switches and not the kind with metal pins on the bottom. Only a con if it bothers you.Anyway I uploaded a ton of photos so you can see for yourself what you’re getting. I really love it.

In love!
I got this keyboard to use with my Macbook. I am not a gamer, I really just wanted a clicky cute keyboard to use when I am on my laptop. It paired to bluetooth extremely fast and I really appreciate that it came with a key card for the color displays. I am enjoying the beautiful color combonations. I chose thr blue optical keys, they are VERY clicky and sooooo satisfying to press. I can't wait to purchase another one in black. Overall GREAT keyboard, great price. I am very happy with my purchase!

Good for the price
[RTK61BP Black Model Gateron Optical Blue Switches]As a Keyboard I picked up for $19 and having seen as low as $14, Ifeel like it is a no-brainer to pick this up if you okay with a Bluetooth wireless or Wired optical-Mechanical Keyboard. I want to make this very clear, this is an optical keyboard, while the switches are hot-swapable, you will only be able to use optical switches and not your standard 3 or 5 pin key switches.Out of the box the keyboard works well and comes with a card detailing all of the FN key functions, in addition to that, you receive a nice keycap puller and a keyswitch puller in box along with the USB cable. One thing that is missing form the in box documentation that I have had to refer to the Amazon page for is the LED meanings (But that's minor). The body is all plastic construction, but still manages to feel more premium than most logitech keyboards I've used. You have 2 feet height options to choose from. The keys feel nice, but they are screen printed legends on the keycaps if that matters to you. At least the switches use standard cherry stems, so you are free to insert your favorite keycaps if you choose.Minor downsides include a non-adjustable 2 minute sleep, and after waking from sleep anywhere from 1-3 seconds before the keyboard starts sending input to the computer again, at least when on bluetooth. The battery monitoring behavior is a bit strange. When first hitting the key combo to view battery life it shows a battery level, but by holding the combo down, the battery life will jump up some in it's reading. I am not sure which is the accurate value, I assume that the value displayed after a few seconds and it updates is, purely based on it seeming more of a consistent draining of the battery while the initial reading can often be seemingly random values. I have watched windows report the same behavior before, during and after holding the battery level combo as well. I have been experiencing about only 10-15 hours. Sadly, unlike the wired version, the keycaps do not have the FN legend printed on them so you are left to either keep the reference card on hand or memorize all of the FN key combinations.Major concern:SOFTWAREWhile they do advertise per key addressable RGB through software, and this functionality does exist, I can not say I would trust installing this software. Not only is this software hard to find and not linked to in the Amazon listing, or in the documentation received in the box, it is hosted on servers in Shenzhen China, the website is also not HTTPS, it is only HTTP. Use this software at your own discretion and always remember to use safe web browsing practices. That said, you are not missing out on much by not using the software, what you are missing out on is setting a custom, STATIC rgb lighting profile, the ability to select a static color other than the like 7 included colors for most of the LED patterns, and changing the primary key input of a keystroke. What the software doesn't allow you to do is in depth LED customization of the RGB paterns, setting function layers to keys, and changing function key combinations. All the function keys are set and I could not find a way to edit them. While there is macro functionality, I could not find a way to set it to be triggered as a combination of keys, it only would replace a key (Basically useless IMO).CONCLUSIONIf you are looking for an inexpensive mechanical keyboard and have a very limited budget, and are okay with the vast selection of built in, keyboard controlled RGB settings, I see no reason to look elsewhere. If what you want is full customization with multiple layers of macros and key configuration, even with the software, why are you looking at something this cheap? This product offers incredible value for the price, but is by no means a high end keyboard experience.

Best budget keyboard
This keyboard has been lasting me a long time and it is still holding up. I would recommend re applying some lube after a while but even without that is is still functional and doesn’t sound too bad.

Shocking value for money
This was like $16! Amazing value for that price. Real mechanical switches of a totally decent quality. I have like 20 keyboards including many CHerry MX genuine keyboards and these switches are perfectly fine! Noisey, but fine.Must have been a closeout price, it is hard to find these keyboards on amazon now. Glad I bought two. Haven't tried the software, don't trust it, don't need it.I bought one of ractous other compact keyboards, the ones without directional buttons, but that layout was just too stupid and strange even though it had genuine gateron optical switches at a lower price. I returned them. These two are keepers. I have basically no complaints. I guess it could be lighter to make it more portable, but that would detract from its sturdiness.

Worth it!
I got the optical brown switch, type of keyboard. It is perfect! It takes awhile to get use to the "?" being all the way to the last right side. But it doesn't bother me too much. As I plan to get another keyboard, but I needed a 60% keyboard badly because I couldn't stand the full keyboards. It is worth the buy, it makes a pleasant clicky sound. It has all these nice backlight effects.Anyway, if you want something to start off and is budget friendly buy this keyboard! You wont regret it!

Very nice switches, great keyboard.
Absolutely love this keyboard. The switches feel great, although they are optical switches. The backlighting is bright and colorful and have many modes, including plain white. Keyboard has weight to it, which makes it feel high quality. Very happy with this.
