Secure Staps
As everyone else has brought up, the straps feels a little scratchy to the touch, but when you are wearing them, you do not feel any discomfort. I bought these because I do a lot of boxing with my MQ3 and wanted the controllers to be secure in my hand but not so much that i was having to grip them unnaturally. These do not disappoint. They replace the battery cover and are perfect. Of course, since they are Meta brand, they cost too much, but I still stand by my purchase because they are seamless on the controller with no stretchy silicone to hope stays secure and hope doesn’t break or interfere with the sensors. These are also very adjustable to your hand which is really nice, so all people can re-Velcro to their exact hand size.

Finally secure knuckle grips without a silicone sock
I had the silicone covers with knuckle grips on my Q2 and Pro controllers, but had issues with the silicone pulling away from the controller when the strap was tightened up. This caused the cover to actually block the tracking cameras on my Pro controllers which was obviously a problem. These new active straps are perfect! I prefer the lack of silicone around the grip and the way these ones are mounted is ideal. There's no worry of them coming off or pulling away from the controller during play. The strap is comfortable and easy to adjust and can be hand washed if they start getting dirty. A little pricey, but worth it IMO.

Good, but overpriced
I actually really like these. Took a while to get the hang of, but eventually they'll be second nature. Are they worth this much money? I mean in an honest world they wouldn't, they're just a couple straps connected to a few pieces of plastic. But are they worth it compared to what else is out there? Sadly yes, VR has a premium and any one of us first-adopters has to pay it.

Better than AMVR
Getting the obvious out of the way, these are outrageously overpriced. Meta's profit margin on the quest 3 is slim to none in an effort to encourage adoption so I'd guess they're trying to recoup some of those losses on accessories. That said, in my opinion, these are the best hand straps you can currently get. I tried the AMVR straps first, specifically the version that includes the silicone sock, but the metal rivet that attaches the strap on top kept digging into my knuckles and became extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, the silicone sock made the controllers slightly too bulky to fit my hands well and dampened the haptics just a bit, and they didn't attach the controllers quite as securely to my hands. As you'd expect from a first-party accessory, these are high quality, have great ergonomics, and attach very nicely to the controllers. The only real complaint I have, like a lot of other reviews complain about, is the strap material. At first I couldn't stand it and was even debating if they were less painful than the AMVR straps, but after a few hours of use - I don't know if they've just broken in or if I've become accustomed to them - they honestly feel great. Switching back to AMVR now there's no comparison. So if you want the best hand straps for the quest 3, and you're willing to give Meta even more money, get these.

I hate to admit it...
I hate to admit it but these super overpriced straps for the Quest 3 are the only ones I can get to work for my big hands. I bought 3 other ones and had to return them because when they were tightened they made it hard for my trigger finger to pull up toward the triggers on the Q3 controller. These angle back in a more comfortable way, allowing me for flexibility with my hands.I also like that they are light and soft enough to still use the controller without putting your hands inside them. Like if you need to do something really quick but don't want to strap in fully.

Expensive but worth it.
Perfect fitting like original battery door, no slipping of silicone case holding controller or blocking tracking lights. It’s just worth it.. little much but will last forever and looks and feels amazing.

Perfect but needlessly expensive.
This piece replaces the battery door and default white string strap for the Q3 controllers. Everything locks together securely, there isn't any added bulk, the strap coming out is seamlessly attatched and looks great, as expected of a first party mod. The material on the strap is comfortable while not feeling like it will slip easily. The material for the straps is not elastic, but once sized i was still able to slip them on and off without undoing the velcro. My Q2 aftermarket grips had an elastic strap that i was able to pull much tighter. These do not feel quite as secure, but i would still have to be actively trying to shake them off to make them come loose.Overall then incredibly well designed. The minimal design combined with the smaller Q3 controllers makes this package a joy to use. But the elephant in the room must be addressed. This is a plastic battery door, a strip of velcro, and a metal hoop. I don't think I've ever seen a product with so little machine and parts cost be this overpriced. This should be a 15-20 dollar kit AFTER the crazy first party markup, not 40 dollars. Performance of the kit itself you will not be disappointed with, but if you are disappointed with what meta is charging, maybe wait to see what other companies come up with.
