I've been looking for a good drone that wasn't going to deplete my savings account. This Contixo F23 was the one for me! The very first thing that caught my eye was the built-in 4.5" screen on the remote. I didn't want to deal with having to worry about having my phone fully charged, and also the drone... this allows me to just focus on learning how to fly without the hassle. Plus the screen is really bright, so I dont have to struggle with finding a shaded area or none of that. The live feed is clear and connects instantly, making the setup process much faster than other drones I’ve used. The GPS and optical flow stabilization make this drone incredibly steady in the air. Even as a beginner, I felt confident using the One-Key Takeoff and the Auto-Return Home feature, which works perfectly if the battery gets low. It comes with 2 batteries, which gives me about 40-45 minutes of fly time. Its perfect as want to disconnect and just get some fresh air. I also really appreciated the 16GB memory card it came with, the kit was designed to fly within minutes of arrival which is great. Overall, I think this is the perfect drone for a teen or a hobbyist, this is an excellent value. Highly recommended!

Unstable to take videos and the resolution is really bad. Also, battery don’t last as long as advertised and take long to charge. It is good for beginners but I think it is priced too high for beginners. This is as good as the ones sold less thank $100.

Contixo Drone Pretty impressed with this drone for the price. It’s easy to get up and flying, controls are pretty responsive, and the camera takes decent pictures and video. Battery life is reasonable, and it’s been a lot of fun to fly around. Great little drone for beginners or just messing around.

The drone flew 3 times total. The drone worked fine the first two flights. The second flight was in town and had slight winds. The gps worked great. The third and final flight was in open country outside of twin falls Idaho. No wind whatsoever. The drone took off, flew for about 2 minutes. I pushed the return home button. The drone went up, flew backwards and flew out of sight never to return. We spent over 4 hours trying to find the drone doing grid searches over several acres and never found it. The connection on the remote was lost so location availability was not available. The remote, drone and batteries were good quality.

The Contixo GPS drone is a fantastic product and provides fun for all ages. Right out of the box, you can see that it is a quality product. It comes in a really beautiful carrying case to protect it and keep it safe when not in use. The main console has a lot of features yet it's easy to use after the first time. It comes with extra pieces including a bunch of extra blades and an extra battery. If you used both batteries, it would give you over an hour an hour and a half of use using all the fun features and its GPS. For an entry/intermediate level drone with this many features, it is well worth the money. Even my dog likes it!

I had to finally send it back. I texted their service center. Never got a reply. I would be flying this thing and it would all of a sudden drop out of the sky. It is very hard to find the app did not work.

I bought this primarily to view my 40 acres from above. For the price point it has a lot of features. The only negative I’ve experienced is the lag time to see the screen during flight. I’m still learning how to use all the features but I think it will be great for my purposes.

From the box to the skies in minutes! With no previous drone piloting experience, this turned out to be a fun and intuitive experience for us. Setup was a breeze... fully charge the batteries and controller, remove the drone, deploy the collapsible propeller arms, set it on a flat surface, hold down the power button until the drone comes alive with beeps and flashing lights, power up the controller, and wait for the drone to establish a connection with the controller. Press the lift-off button - you'll hear an "all clear" warning and the blades begin rotation; press it again, and the drone leaps into the air! Initially, we started with very subtle, gentle commands to orient ourselves with the control sensitivity... up, down, rotate direction, forward/reverse, and left and right. As new pilots, we did have a few unexpected entanglements with our trees and some plants... however, even with a few tumbles, the sturdy design, as well as the flexible and non-rigid prop connections, did just fine and were not damaged. Our drone was airborne for a good 20 minutes while we worked out our new flying skills without any noticeable dip in available battery power. We managed to record a few minutes of one of our flights and the resolution and color were way beyond our expectations. Next, we want to explore more of the included features... this little drone packs a punch with advanced features and is easy enough for a complete novice to use.
