Dr. Mascara Fixer, Long-Lasting Curl Hold, Black, 0.203 fl oz

This is the BEST mascara if you are going for the no-makeup-makeup look. It's got a good EWG rating (2 as of this writing), stays very well, is non-irritating, and does not leave any little flaky crumbly bits under your eyes ALL DAY LONG. It DOES NOT BUDGE, and looks very natural but gives you darker, defined lashes. If you want volume, this is not that product on its own, but as a base for any other (like tubing) mascara, or by itself if you don't want to look overly made-up, it's perfect. It washes off very easily with a cleansing balm, but does not run if you get your face wet. Holds a curl nicely. For me, this is a HG product, and especially for the price and cleaner composition, it's an absolute win.

I was really disappointed with this mascara. It makes my lashes clump together almost immediately, which completely defeats the purpose of using mascara in the first place. No matter how carefully I apply it, I end up with thick, stuck-together lashes instead of a defined look. Also, the tube feels surprisingly light, which makes me wonder if there’s actually much product inside—though that might just be my impression. Overall, this mascara just didn’t work for me and I wouldn’t repurchase it.

This is the only mascara that keeps my lashes upright! I do layer with a light mascara afterwards but this is a holy grail product. I can't see myself with droopy lashes anymore. I use this almost daily.

Keeps those Asian straight lashes curled! I curl my lashes with a regular eyelash curler then apply this. I bought the tinted one to give it a my lashes but better look. It holds the whole day. My lids get oily and if I’m wearing western mascara or eyeliner, it smudges. I’ve purchased high end ones and drug store ones. These are able to stay on pretty much the whole day. But given my eyes, I do need to apply powder around my eyes to keep it from smudging if it’s a particularly hot day (100 F). Otherwise they hold up just fine.

I like the way it goes on and looks very natural. Not heavy or really dramatic. I use it for day use only. Waterproof It didn't really stick out from other mascaras I have used, I don't know if I would reorder.

I’ve had issues for years on having flaking or black under my eyes when wearing mascara. This is the only one that hasn’t given me issues. I didn’t have issues trying to remove it either

I purchased this mascara because it advertised its ability to hold a curl. The packaging is actually pretty unique—it comes in a soft plastic tube rather than a hard shell, which I found interesting. The formula itself leans more on the drier side rather than being very wet. It doesn’t provide a thick, voluminous look, but it does hold a slight curl. Just don’t expect anything dramatic. The results weren’t disappointing, but they also didn’t wow me. The color is a deep, true black, which I really liked. Overall, it’s a decent everyday mascara, but not one I’d reach for if I wanted bold, high-impact lashes.

The clear fixer is not my favorite. The brush leaves a residue that is goopy and thick. It does not help the lashes look thicker as much as the black tube.
