Unmatched value for this high quality that sets the bar extremely high for competitors
Excellent value for a battle-ready katana. The 1060 blade is very sharp, stout, and well balanced at 5.5 inches forward of the tsuba. Sword alone weighs 2lb 2oz. The handle wrap feels secure, and the saya has a clean, smooth, no wobble or rattle fitment. Easily worth 3x’s the cost. I have certainly paid more $$ for less quality. A truly regret free purchase.

Very Impressive, beautiful sword!
Wow. I was truly impressed when I opened the box, first simply by the weight. This sword is a work of art, I feel like I really got a great value for it at only $50. The blade, a really cool all-black, is like a black mirror, and it was wrapped in cellophane and came well-oiled. There are some instructions for maintaining the blade, namely don't touch it or risk leaving fingerprints on it. I did check the sharpness carefully, and if you take it out and aren't careful playing with it, you may seriously cut yourself. Does not need any additional sharpening! The handle as well is attractively wrapped in black cord like other katanas I have bought. Everything about this sword shows master craftsmanship. This full-tang sword, in the hands of a skilled user, could easily cut a man's head off. If one were so inclined. This is a powerful and dangerous weapon, well worth the money and would make any intruder think twice haha.

Can't beat it.
I wanted a sword to keep in my gun safe for the coming zombie apocalypse. I don't think you'll do better than this for the price. I can't talk much about edge retention or blade strength since I'm not actually using it - but it seems like it won't have much trouble going through soft rotting flesh when I need it to. That said - it honestly seems pretty well made considering the price. I'm betting this is nowhere near as good as an expensive authentic katana, but I don't need it to be. That's a luxury I can't afford and the "Harbor Freight" model will work for my needs. I was going back and forth between this and the base model Cold Steel katana - but this is longer and nicer looking. Cold Steel no longer makes the (cheap) model that would have been directly comparable to this for some reason - which is too bad cause I would have bought that instead. If you look at specs for the 'base model' all black Cold Steel tactical katana - theirs is a bit shorter than a full length Katana sword, but they did make one at some point. Now you either need to settle for a shorter katana or spend more for a nicer katana sword which they DO offer. I wouldn't go out trying to chop trees down with this, but I promise you I wouldn't want anyone swinging this at me. The sheath is really nice for price as well. This sword would make a great display item if that's what you're into, but mine just sits in a safe next to more dangerous items. Now I just need a spear and I'll be ready for the walking dead.

good first katana for the price
Basic, looks nice, cuts, not particularly amazing. But for $60 a great budget entry level sword for practicing edge alignment. tsuka wraps aren't extremely tight but if you are just doing some light tameshigiri not a problem at all. slightly heavy and bohi not very deep but i think the weight adds to the budget first sword training katana feel of it. sageo is probably the one truly bad thing about it, something similar to paracord almost and not very tight. Still usable though. decent first tameshigiri katana.

Worth the price, even if you just hang it up.
Usually when a katana sells for 50 bucks you almost automatically say to yourself "for that price it must be junk". But thanks to the wonderful return policy I just had to try it. I've had it for 2 months now, and I sharpened it myself. I'm not the best but it slices through paper so I'm satisfied. (I've also cut myself so be careful.) I've used it on fruit, certain size pieces of wood, water bottles, and it slices nice. Another thing I enjoy, which many people probably don't or wouldn't think about it, is re-tying the ito (grip). It's like a whole nother hobby. I also did a rough carving of a dragon since the all black look isn't that exciting. I'll include a picture. Anyway, to sum up, I bought a ornamental katana set a while back, and they look so beautiful at one point I said I need to swing one! So instead of probably breaking the beautiful decor, I opted for a 50 dollar katana that is absolutely worth the money. One problem I've run into is the katana becoming loose, which I remedied by putting a little tape around the opening to make it snug. Maybe it'll fall apart one day but I think I've already got my money's worth so great purchase.

Unrivaled durability
I put this sword through the toughest torture test. Chopping straight through 5 gallon buckets. Cutting down trees. And overall doing my best to destroy this blade and could not do it. I bought this sword with the sole purpose of destroying it and could not. I am very surprised by the strength and quality especially with it being so cheap. I’m definitely buying more for my friends. 10/10

Amazing quality for the price
For the price my mind is blown. This could easily be a 150-200 range. I have many swords this is the cheapest one I own most expensive being a $4000 1800 japanese katana and besides the cheap tsuba qnd fake rayskin its pretty good quality. Has a nice curve in it. Feels full tang ill have to disassemble to see for sure but for the price its perfect for display, kata, even demo its got a nice Sharp blade on it and feels balanced really nicely. Highly recommend for those just getting into sword collecting, those looking for a decent sword to train and practice kata with. The reason I bought this was as a gift for one of my students who's about to receive his blackbelt ended up ordering another for him. Gonna tear this one apart and see how how good it is.

Calidad-precio 5/5
Tal cual la imagen. Color negro Bien empacada, afilada y engrasada.
