Tricky to use but effective.
I used these on my kayak and like the title says, they were stubborn. I had to hold the base with needlenose pliers and pray not for them to slip and give me a blood blister, but when I got them seated, it became a strong anchor to hold things like my seat straps that would pull strongly from straight out of the hull
