Part works and fits just like original panel. Easy install.

It works in a Pit Boss 820 I bought at Lowes a few years back that has been blowing a lot of fuses and killing the igniter rods. The install was easy.It fixed things for a couple months then started blowing fuses again and the igniter stays on when the grill is turned off.

Bought this to fix daughter's smoker. She almost everything on it. This controller works like the orginal one . Been using it for 3 weeks now zero problems with it. Update been 3 months now. She uses it minium of 5 times a week. Works flawlessly 5 stars well worth the money

The thing I like the most about it was the installation was so easy. The plugs led right up. I took them off one at a time and put them back on the unit clipped right in plugged it in and started smoking.

With the original Pit boss controller, I would see temp swings of 20 degrees at most. With this one on start up, it will over shoot by at least 100 degrees and during a cook, 80 degrees is common. I would never cook an expensive brisket with this. Can’t, in all good faith, recommend this product.

This is an example of an aftermarket part being better than the OEM part. Fits great and works great, with a display that is better than the original. The original control panel gave ERR messages after 4 uses. At first I thought it was the RTD probe, but it was the control panel that was faulty. I've used it 4 times now, we'll see if it outlasts the original.
