SulkyPaper Solvy Water Soluble Fabric Stabilizer, 8-1/2 by 11-Inch, 12 Per Package (Pack of 4)

I like Paper Solvy for sashiko. It works well; however, this package had been opened and resealed and was not full. It was one sheet short. It’s a lot of work to return, including a two mile walk so I won’t be getting this brand again.

I got these thinking they were the sticker kind that then washes off with water. BUT they are actually just sheets of water-soluble paper that you have to get spray adhesive to use. I was disappointed because I don't want to have to buy another product to make this one work right.

El papel es fácil de imprimir o de dibujar para el patrón. Yo pensé que era adherible, pero no. Lo uso con una tela un poco gruesa, y es un poco difícil hacer que no se mueva, además de que es un poquito sensible. Aparte de eso, no hay mucho problema con telas más ligeras.

Oops, I brought the wrong product was too impatient to exchange it. I'm using it for embroidery, so I wanted the kind with the sticky back. So, I use straight (T) pins to try and keep the Sulky paper on as tight and wrinkle-free as possible. Works well but I can't seem to get all the white paper off from next to the stitches so there's like a white halo around my work.
