Just getting into wildlife photography, starting with my Samsung S23 FE. I ordered this macro lens when I realised my phone didn't have one. I am over the moon with the results. Very easy to use with the Neewer universal mount, and got wonderful pictures from the first time I used it.

I have a proper camera setup for macro, but this is so much easier and I can carry it with me on walks. Just remember you have to get the correct fittings for your mobile phone model.

Brilliant. Has a nice depth of field and good quality image. I’ve used it for some lovely b-roll shots

Had high hopes for this lens, due to the price. However, I was disappointed with the chromatic aberration and softness at all parts of the image apart from the centre sweet spot. In addition, significant vignetting at far corners

Looks like a great lens - it's got plenty of weight - but you need a phone cage which you need to screw this into - so it doesn't just attach to your your phone. So there is an additional cost to be aware of. Plus they don't have a cage for my iPhone model - so I've not been able to test. As I need to review this I can only do it based on what I have - For others that have the right phone and a cage they may prove out that this is really a great lens. Sorry Neewer!

I’ve used serval macro phone lens now and have never had to purchase a separate ‘cage’ in order to attach it to my phone. Normally they come with large clips at no extra charge. Though this lens appears to be of good quality and does produce some nice pictures (see my unedited ones attached…used holding the lens to the camera so not the most in focus) I can’t in good faith recommend it knowing you also need to purchase something else (at around the £50 mark depending on your phone) to use it.

Worked with my SmallRig cage - screwed in & feels very secure. No wobble or movement on the lens. Build quality is great, feels well made & generally of premium nature. Excellent addition to your phone photography arsenal if you want to pursue macro shots.

I didn’t read listing properly as clearly says need to buy cage separately ( lens I currently use came with clips).This does add to cost but lens looks great and having had photography items from this brand before trust be great quality.I haven’t bought cage yet I’m wait until I upgrade phone at end of month but looking forward to use.I keep reptiles and tarantulas as well as several insect species and regularly use macro lenses to take close up pics.

Very good quality lens in terms of built and optically. Need a case with 17mm thread in order to hold the lens.
