GREAT with a walking boot!
This is a great addition to having a walking boot!I have an XL walking boot like this (XL, Men's size 12 foot):https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LST64PZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1The problem with the walking boot is that the heel rubs the rubber off and then you make this clicking sound everywhere, and then it gets slippery on things like tile floors. This fits over the whole thing really well, adds traction, and gets rid of the clicking sound! It's a little tight at first on my toes, but stretches just enough that it actually fits perfect. I don't usually undo the lowest velcro at all, and I weave the next one on the top of my foot under the rubber band thing, and then over it when I attach it.The heel does shift around a little bit, depending on how you walk, so I do occasionally have to readjust it, but that's not too big of a problem. The rubber on them does stretch and eventually wear out, so it's not a permanent fix, but mine lasted a month or longer before starting to show wear. AND, since they come as a pair, you can use one until it wears out, and then you have another one. With this, I was able to walk around in snow and on icy sidewalks even! They make two models and i got both to compare. Both work well, but the one that's more like a hiking tread split apart a little quicker than the other one (below). I'd say both are worth it for what they offer.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C5F3KVT5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

Not the best
This is an easy product to put on and wear, but it did not provide the traction I needed for my roof. I returned the item.

Good traction
Used on 25 degree roof. Ended up using a deeper and softer soled work boot as the shoe traction pads had a tendency to slide to the sides of my boot. Really put more strain on my ankles when trying to place siding back into place when they slide sideways. They do seem to grab well. A better securing system would be helpful.

Good grip
I was looking for a product that would help me prevent from slipping off while on a metal roof. This product did just that, I found it easy to put on, adjust very well to my boots, went up to the roof and felt safe enough, it had good grip, fits well I am shoe size 9 and all good.

Didn’t last longer than 25 minutes
These were not very helpful. They started to deteriorate within 25 minutes of use. For $40 bucks I would think they would have held up better.

Grippy!
I do Post frame and figured I'd try these as a quick alternative to unlacing my work boots and putting on roof shoes to walk steel roofs when we run them, plus doubling as an easy slip on for walking on finished concrete floors and not having rocks in my boot tread scratch it. I am impressed! These things really stick fantastic on a steel roof! I typically wear skate shoes like DCs for the flat high contact bottom and soft rubber, and these perform just as well if not better, however an additional strap in the center, more secure strapping, or something of that nature to help roll stability might be a nice add because walking a 6/12 pitch sideways can cause them to start to slip out the side a little bit and periodically need adjusted

Don't stay on
I attached these to my wading boots...liked the traction but immediately lost one when I stepped in some mud under water. One just pulled right off could not find it. A waste of money for me.
