Yes and Yes – Great Add-On for Tough Ground
Bought this to go with my Vevor jackhammer, and it fits perfectly and works great. I live on a clay-heavy property and was digging a French drain—this bit made all the difference. It tore through the compacted clay and tough dirt like a champ and helped me get down over 20 inches deep without losing my mind. For the price, this is a no-brainer add-on that turns your jackhammer into a serious digging machine. If you’re working on tough ground, especially clay, this thing will save your back and your time. Highly recommend.

Brought the thump
Got to say that I was very uncertain given the lack of strong reviews for this product prior to buying it. Suffice it to say that it is not cheap either. Now that that's out of the way, this thing is high quality, heavy, and works with my 2200 W jackhammer to a t. I used it to tamp the base Rock and soil behind a retaining wall that I am building and it delivered with a vengeance. I barely had to do any of the work alone other than picking the jackhammer up and moving it. Once there the weight of the shank, tamper, and jackhammer was more than sufficient to tamp the dirt. If I had one wish it would be larger, of course. But then my weak body probably wouldn't be able to lift it anymore.Go ahead and get it. It's what you think it is, it works just as it looks like it will. One tip is that once you put the shank in the tamper you are not getting that bad boy off. Well, maybe you have if you have access to high power hydraulics or something, Pat Superman's grip alone would not be sufficient, point being get it aligned right the first time. Once you thump, it's permanent.

Doesn’t fit Harbor Freight jack hammers without modification
This bit absolutely does NOT fit a harbor freight 1 1/8” jack hammer. I have the Hercules 65lbs and the Bower 35lbs and it doesn’t fit either one. Otherwise it seems sturdy and a good value

Better than a clay spade!
I much prefer this blade to the clay spade that I also bought. I had less problems with clay sticking to this, and overall found it more useful than the clay spade. It is heavy duty, and a good value for the price.

Great for breaking up hard clay ground
Great for breaking up compacted clay. I live in the southeast US and have hard, clay soil. Digging with a shovel takes forever to get just a few inches deep, and there are many rocks and roots as well. This attachment broke up the clay and dislodged rocks very easily, and allowed planting trees and shrubs from 3 gallon pots quickly and easily. If I used a regular shovel, it would have taken over an hour of hard labor for each one.

This XtremepowerUS Tamper Shank WILL NOT fit a Bosch 1&1/8 inch jackhammer
These bits are not in any way interchangeable.1. They are shaped differently.2. The XtremepowerUS Tamper Shank hexagonal part is much thicker than the bit that fits the Bosch jackhammer. It is so thick that it will not even fit into the Bosch at all.3. Even if the XtremepowerUS Tamper Shank could fit into the Bosch, it would not be able to lock into place due to the differences in location of the groove.I do want to state that the XtremepowerUS Tamper Shank feels like it is very high quality. I'm sure it is very tough. However, I am irritated that it was not specified that this bit would not fit Bosch jackhammers. If 1&1/8 inch jackhammer bits were standardized, this problem would have never happened. Buyer beware!
