PRETTY LIGHTS
I absolutely love this keyboard!!! Upgraded it with the best switches from the company (I think the fastest ones I could find without being super fast) but the sounds!!! Are amazing!!! It’s got a good reaction time if you upgrade the switches though Using the switches it came with would of been a little too slow for gaming so I swapped out all the most used keys on keyboard with the new switches

Wont last long
was fine for a while but a month or two after the return window closed multiple issues became apparent, keys not registering and quality issues with the board, did some googling and multiple people have had similar issues online i would avoid and go with a different keyboard

Keys started to jump and add random spaces
Keyboard has become faulty, adding random spaces as I type. It often will spam one letter and be stuck until I turn it off and on again a few times.

Impressive
I was interested in trying the kko 5075B Plus RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, as although I have been using a Razer mechanical keyboard for a few years, it’s full size and I’ve been looking at sizing down and trying new switches. In the box there was the required key puller and USB C cable, along with additional key caps that, if I’m honest I would prefer they left out and saved a few pounds. I’m using the keyboard with the 2.4GHz USB dongle, and the connection has been consistent and reliable. Battery life has also been great, with no need to charge yet. There is a supporting software application that can be used to further customise the keyboard RGB and functions, but I’m not using it as I like to minimise the bloat on my PC. Without the software the keyboard works out of the box as you would expect. You also get some control over RGB lighting via key combinations and the knob on the top left of the keyboard acts as a volume control for the PC. The linear switches are smooth and key travel feels right for me with my typing speed notably improved over my previous keyboard. There are feet that allow the board to sit at two different angles, or flat, but I seem to prefer the highest adjustment. The board itself is rigid and has a good weight that helps it stay put on the desk. All in all, as a starter keyboard for anyone looking to get into custom mechanical boards, the kko 5075B Plus RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is a decent option.

Fantastic value
I honestly can't believe how good this keyboard is for the price. It has that custom feel but without the cost. I can't believe how the giants get away with their pricing when items like this exist. This is twice the keyboard than those produced by Razer, Corsair, etc... I think these even challenge the standard boards produced by Keychron but maybe not quite the build quality of the metal framed pro variants. The switches feel good, the default stabs are great, the gasket is appreciated and the sound is really good. Fantastic all-rounder for gaming/work. The RGB is good but as others have stated the keycaps are not passthrough. The effect is still good though and the caps can be replaced if you wanted to. (Though beware the 96% keys in some places). Quick note to anyone buying - Even if you order the UK layout it might come with the German keys in place. All the UK/EN keycaps are in the box and can be quickly swapped over. I got worried that I would need to return but seems they're the same pack in reality.

Well made customisable keyboard for gaming if you are willing to pay
At just over a hundred pounds I was expecting a lot from this keyboard , it does deliver in many aspects , it’s only shortcomings being it’s Mac integration and a software manager , that worked without issue on Mac , but has no documentation. The keyboard comes beautifully boxed with ‘cherry’ style keys , from what I can work out , this is one of many styles / contours of keys that you are able to fit. You also get spare mechanisms that sit under the key. These can be swapped out for ones with different assets. The ones that come with it are ‘tactile’ although I couldn’t find any info on what this means ? There are ones called ‘linear’ which I’m assuming will have a linear response to the mechanisms travel , but ‘tactile’ tells me little , I can only assume they are more responsive for gaming ? You also get some spare keys , some with pictures , some for a German layout and some , like ‘Enter’ keys that can be used for a customised layout , you need to use the undocumented software for that. There are two tools included , one to remove keys and one to remove the key mechanisms from the PCB. Lastly there are some rubber things , the manual says nothing about them and I have little clue what they are used for ? They look like alternative feet , but could be cushioning for certain keys , anyone’s guess really to the uninitiated. There is also a nice quality usb cable , C to A for data and charging. In use you will have to decide, with a switch on the rear , which platform you are using. It’s a gaming board so most people will be using Windows , I am on Mac which is supported so I moved the switch to that. The third choice is labelled ‘usb’ The manual shows you the bindings for each platform , great. Now you can either power it wired , or you have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi , dongle included on the rear of the board. Bluetooth lets you select from three connected devices. In Bluetooth you are using the internal battery which I think is 3000mah, quite decent and I haven’t even used enough yet to move it from the green light. You can check battery status in Bluetooth mode with a key combo which will display green , yellow and red for charge. All the Mac controls were mapped correctly and even the encoder knob on the board was pre mapped to volume , or to brightness of the RGB lights with a press switching between the two. The action of the keys are fine it feels very sturdy to use , a little clicky but I’m used to a Mac Magic Keyboard which is basically silent. You can however buy silent mechanisms from the manufacturer. Customising this board is the beauty of it , however keys are expensive and you can only buy whole sets, I somewhat understand this because of the different contours of keys, but it gets expensive , thankfully the key mechanisms are surprisingly cheap to buy. I did find from the makers website that a lot of the best key designs were sold out , so I’d check availability if you intend to change yr keys after buying the keyboard. The RGB functions can be changed from the board directly and this is detailed in the manual , however it does note for Mac that ‘music mode’ won’t work. The RGB animations are fun and you can adjust speed , brightness and movement for both the keys and the side panels. You can also adjust these using the software manager and even customise the colour of each key , handy if you want to colour code short cuts or gaming keys. I did find the colour picker was a bit off and orange appeared as green unless you defined it yourself on the colour wheel. I did have trouble connecting at first to the software, but once I used a cable it was fine and after that I was able to connect to the software via Bluetooth. The software lets you change keybindings easily I.e. defining what each key does , useful if you are changing layouts. However with no documentation it was very frustrating getting macros to work. I don’t know whether it was because I was using a Mac , but I could not get macros working , it’s easy to assign them to a key , but I just didn’t understand how to record them so they would work. All in all this is a solid built keyboard that is supported on the most part on their website , the software worked and I feel like you get your moneys worth. Customising it adds to cost and the software needs documentation or a YouTube tutorial. You get plenty of extras as well as an internal battery. I can recommend it , but I was very much hoping to use macros , so was left dissatisfied. Also the site needs to get more interesting keys in stock , there are some nice collabs with various companies, such as anime’s, San Rio etc , but a lot of stuff is sold out. The keys are expensive but very well designed and made and the mechanisms are very well priced. There is a great selection of stuff when it is in stock. I recommend visiting their site first to see whether it’s for you , but I can say it’s a great keyboard as stock.

Do not buy this keyboard.
Its not even been a year since I bought this keyboard and some of the keys don't even register when you press them and its very annoying since you need to press them again. Avoid this keyboard.

Fantastica!
